You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:38, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi. I’m sorry about my disruptive editing and definitely want my Wikipedia account retrieved and operatable again. I may not wan’t to write an entire Wikipedia page, but my strong point is definitely editing and tweaking mis-spellings. I realised what I did wrong and want to correct it in every way I can. I hope you take all of my points into account. I respect your descision either way, considering what I did. Thank you. Thebuzzpomleyfan (talk) 08:14, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I will give you another chance. If you have any questions, please ask at the Teahouse or Help Desk. Be advised that you may be reblocked with or without warning should the problematic edits recur. 331dot (talk) 08:51, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately I’m working in iPad and the game isn’t compatible on smaller iOS devices. I’ve read the guide to Wikipedia over and over, so now I think I’m good to go.

New Wiki page

[edit]

Hi. Can anyone tell me how to make a new wiki page? Thanks! Thebuzzpomleyfan (talk) 09:37, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Creating a new article (not just "page") is probably the most difficult thing to do on Wikipedia. New users who dive right in to creating articles often end up disappointed and with hurt feelings as their work is mercilessly criticized, edited, and even deleted. I do not want that to happen to you. New users are much more successful if the first start small by editing existing articles and gradually making more substantive edits until they finally build up to creating an article. This helps them to get a feel for what is being looked for in articles. I would suggest that you take that path.
However, if you still want to create an article, you should read Your First Article to learn about the process, and then use Articles for Creation to create a draft and get feedback on it before it is formally placed in the encyclopedia. 331dot (talk) 10:00, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Sorted problem.

Recognition

[edit]

Can anyone please tell me how I can become a more prolific editor or an administrator? Thebuzzpomleyfan (talk) 17:34, 3 March 2019 (UTC) I’m sure being blocked in such short space of time would prevent me from coming one[reply]

Administrators are chosen by the community in a process called Request for Adminship. Typically community members nominate other users, though you can nominate yourself. However, the chances of new or inexperienced users being given admin powers are close to zero. Users must generally spend years building up an edit history that shows they understand Wikipedia policies and processes and have good judgement and temperament. I was here for five years before being considered. Having been blocked is a temporary setback, but the more time that passes, the less of an issue it is. Keep in mind that you can do 95% of things here without being administrator. 331dot (talk) 17:44, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Check the Community Portal for ways you can help the project. 331dot (talk) 17:46, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cool, Thanks.

How do I add/change images on Wikipedia pages. I’m trying to add a more recent photo of some footballers but have no idea how to do so. Thebuzzpomleyfan (talk) 19:25, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
