- The Reference has been provided, if you care to read, Read the topic of the conflicts between different sects of islam Succession to Muhammad, https://www.pewresearch.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2013/11/Shias-Sunnis-religious-conflict-full-report.pdf The Testifier (talk) 19:34, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- It says "For more information on the distinctions between Sunnis and Shias, see the sidebar [...]", and clicking on that sidebar, it says:
- "Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims (also known as Shiites) comprise the two main branches of Islam. Sunni and Shia identities first formed soon after the death of the Prophet Muhammad in 632 C.E., centering on a dispute over leadership succession. Over time, however, the political divide between the two groups broadened to include theological distinctions and differences in religious practices as well.
- While the two groups are similar in many ways, they differ over conceptions of religious authority and interpretation as well as the role of the Prophet Muhammad’s descendants, among other issues.
- Members of Sufi orders, which embrace mystical practices, can fall within either the Sunni or the Shia tradition. In some cases, Sufis may accept teachings from both traditions."
- That's it. Unless I've missed something, It doesn't support any of the detail you are adding. signed, Willondon (talk) 20:13, 2 January 2025 (UTC)

Bias and Spreading Misinformation
[edit]I strongly recommend that you refrain from spreading misinformation or biased content in Islamic articles on Wikipedia. If you wish to avoid being "banned" from contributing to this platform, it is essential that you "immediately" cease this behavior. Thank you. Selenne (talk) 08:32, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- ⚠️ Stop removing citations and content without any proper study or research. If you want to learn about Islamic topics, you need to educate yourself thoroughly before making changes. You have deleted multiple references, citations, and key highlights—some of which were simply hyperlinks to other Wikipedia pages providing in-depth explanations. It's clear you removed these because they don't align with your pro-Sunni narrative.
- Many of these pages already include Sunni viewpoints and assumptions about other sects of Islam. By removing well-referenced content, you're disrupting the balance and fairness of these articles. This is unacceptable and goes against the principles of Wikipedia as a neutral and unbiased platform.
- For example:
- Are you suggesting these events never happened and that all referenced content is fabricated? You've removed dozens of citations just because they challenge your narrative. This kind of biased editing is harmful and will not be tolerated.
- Wikipedia is a secular and unbiased platform intended for everyone to learn from. If you continue this behavior, it will be reported as vandalism. I suggest you stop disrupting articles and focus on keeping them factual and balanced for the benefit of all. The Testifier (talk) 15:42, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
Editing your talk page
[edit]When editing your user talk page, you are free to remove threads or comments. What you cannot do is edit other user's comments that have been signed, making it look like they said something they did not say. In editing the topics, you can't remove just parts, but you can remove the whole thing. signed, Willondon (talk) 14:01, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
