Speedy deletion of Pimp my bag

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Pimp my bag requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. James Robson (talk) 22:48, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Why have I been blocked as a sockpuppet of someone that I don't know? I have done nothing wrong on wikipedia so why should I pay for someone else's action?

Decline reason:

I agree that it seems probable that this account is a sock. It seems improbable that this is someone you don't know. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:16, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I as just editing my school's and my sister's school's pages and putting links to them in disambiguation pages but then I was blocked as a sock because someone else of the 681 pupils(Figure should be c.660) at my school decided to vandalize wikipedia. Is this a fare way to treat new editors who just want to help the project?

Decline reason:

Don't you think it's an incredible coincidence that you show up two weeks after Ianxp was blocked indefinitely to make similar edits and create an article about a non-notable company operated out of the same Irish school? Can you see why it seems that you're Ianxp to us? — Daniel Case (talk) 19:03, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I can see why it may look suspicious to you but not all people in this school are Ianxp. Also if I were Ianxp and was blocked indefinitely wouldn't it be impossible to create this account in the first place? As for the company, my limited research into Ianxp's contributions shows no sign of any such edits, in fact the only common edits seen to be the school's page so why must I bear the label of a sockpuppet?

Decline reason:

Looking at your contribs, I have to agree with Daniel Case and FisherQueen--it's obvious you're somebody's sockpuppet. And even if you weren't, creating a page about a non-notable company three times is considered spamming. Talk page protected. — Blueboy96 22:25, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
