[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Jerry Cornelius do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://www.myspace.com/jerrycorneliustheband http://www.myspace.com/jcasmuzak) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 12:54, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
The recent edit you made to User talk:XLinkBot constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. treelo talk 13:08, 7 May 2008 (UTC))
- And it's vandalism how? It was fairly polite, I used the form thing for adding questions....--The Space Banana (talk) 13:42, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- The warning about vandalism was an error. treelo was having problems with a tool used to revert vandalism & issue warnings. He seems to have resolved the issue now & I've struck the warning above (you may remove it, but my response here would be out of context if I removed it). - I will reply to the question you posted on XLinkBot's talk page in a little while. --Versageek 16:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, thankyou! I was getting worried....--The Space Banana (talk) 16:45, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I've included the standard welcome template above. When writing about a band, perhaps the most important page to read is our notability guidelines for bands. Assuming your group meets those minimum guidelines, it will be important to provide references from reliable sources to back up the information. I suggest that you start the article as a page in your user space, for instance User:The Space Banana/Sandbox, so that our new page patrollers don't slap deletion tags on it while you're still trying to write the content. Once you've written a solid core article, you can move the page from your userspace into the mainspace (where our new page patrollers will slap a different set of tags all over it, but that's the wiki-way ;) ). XLinkBot won't bother you in your userspace/sandbox and once your account is 7 days old, it won't bother you at all. --Versageek 18:19, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
