Neji Hyuga
Alright: do you not remember when Guy said to Lee: "Neji is a genius blah, blah, blah, but you can beat him with hard work Lee." You remember that, don't you? Also, I'm not sure if I did this right: Category:Fictional characters who can resurrect themselves... Power level (Dragon Ball) 06:24, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Wait, so you do have the first and second databooks then?! Can you send me a scan of that quote stuff? Also, see if the Kakashi being named Enoki is in there too. Thanks! You still wonder about the reasons why I added these cats? As you want to know. I’ll explain to you with my plainest clarification.
1) FICTIONAL EVIL GENIUSES This cat has 2 main factors: Evil and genius, which combine into evil genius.
- Evil: Sasori is evil, no one can deny this. He exterminated a village, killed all villgers and turned the corpses into human puppets. Those clues are enough to make him defined as “evil”.
- Genius: Let’s see the definition of genius from Wiki: “A genius is a person with great intelligence. The term also applies to one who is a polymath, or someone skilled in many mental areas. The term specifically applies to mental skills rather than anything else, although it is also colloquially used to denote the possession of a superior talent in any field; e.g., Diego Maradona or Jose Macia may be said to have a genius for soccer, or Winston Churchill for statesmanship.” Another definition from Answers.com:
a. • Extraordinary intellectual and creative power.
b. A person of extraordinary intellect and talent: “One is not born a genius, one becomes a genius” (Simone de Beauvoir).
c. A person who has an exceptionally high intelligence quotient, typically above 140.
a. • A strong natural talent, aptitude, or inclination: has a genius for choosing the right words.
b. One who has such a talent or inclination: a genius at diplomacy.
Why is Sasori considered a genius? Because of his undeciable talent in various fields:
- Akatsuki member (an organization which contains almost all of geniuses). Also, what Sasori has demonstrated through Part II series is obvious clues for his talent.
- Killed the Third Kazekage, the strongest Kazekage ever known in history of Sunagakure.
- Master puppeteer: Chiyo can be regarded as a genius in puppet manipulation, but Sasori is even much better. His talent in puppetry is shown from early age, which is a notable mark for genius-nature. With high creativity demonstrated through the creation of human puppet and using them as powerful weapons, it’s hard to find another puppeteer who is more prominent than Sasori. According to the definition I have mentioned above: “The term specifically applies to mental skills rather than anything else, although it is also colloquially used to denote the possession of a superior talent in any field…” We don’t know exactly Sasori’s IQ but at least Sasori can be considered a “genius” in “puppetry” field and he completely meets the criteria for a “genius” appellation.
- Master of poisons: Sasori himself is able to concoct fatal poison that “takes effect instantly and kill the target after three days of suffering”. A good brain for chemistry.
- Mechanical intellect to create a lot of malign traps: remember that if it hadn’t been for the attendance of Chiyo, who has known thoroughly Sasori’s complex traps, Sakura might have said goodbye to Naruto.
In conclusion, let’s imagine of a person who is a master in many fields: puppetry, poisons, killed the most powerful Kazekage, intelligent enough to create complex traps, and last but not least, whose talent has been apparently shown from childhood is perfectly fitted with the definition of “genius”.
- “Evil genius”: I bring the definition of “evil genius from Wiki article: “The Evil Genius is an archetype or even a caricature that is a recurring staple in certain genres of fiction, particularly comic books, spy fiction, action films and cartoons. The evil genius serves as a common adversary and foil of the hero.
As the term suggests, evil geniuses are characters of great intelligence who choose to use their knowledge for antisocial ends. To qualify as an evil genius, one must use cunning to craft complex plots that cause havoc and destruction; criminal tendencies are a must. Their schemes often hinge on mundane details that heroes can exploit, foiling their plots at the climax of the story.”
=> As I have analysed the two factors “evil” and “genius” and to make a comparison to this combined definition, Sasori qualifies as an “evil genius”.
Also, see the origin of an “evil genius “Evil geniuses have commonly had difficult childhoods. They may have been orphans or witnessed their parents' horrible deaths.” => Again, Sasori’s case meets this criterion. I suggest you read some characters’ articles in the cat so you’ll have a deeper insight into the definition and you’ll understand when we put a character in this cat and why. OK, I have clarified why Sasori should be in Category:Fictional Evil Geniuses. Now I’ll come to the next one.
2) FICTIONAL SERIAL KILLERS
About this problem, at least other 2 editors agree with me, including Power Level and Arfan. But there’s a difference between the versions of mine and PL’s. Mine is FSK and PL’s is Fictional mass murderer. However, after taking into consideration, I decide to put the cat FSK which is more accurate in the definition (though the two share nearly the same meaning).
Again, I’ll begin with “what’s a serial killer”?
“A serial killer is someone who kills several victims in three or more separate events with an emotional cooling off period in between the homicides. The cooling off period may last days, weeks, months, or years, and reference to separate events and separate locations, Many are psychopaths, who are considered personality disordered and not psychotic, and thus appear to be quite normal and often even charming, a state of adaptation which Hervey Cleckley calls the "mask of sanity."
From Answers.com: “A person who attacks and kills victims one by one in a series of incidents.”
As you know, Sasori has massacred a whole village, means that he must have killed “several victims” as noted above (im fact a hundreds of people). Also, his killing may happen through his time in Akatsuki for several events, not only in the bound of a village. It means that he has done his role as a “serial killer” in “three or more separate events”, which we don’t know exactly.
Moreover, Sasori’s serial killing also comes from “personality disordered” (in which include the criterion: The pattern is stable and of long duration and its onset can be traced back at least to adolescence or early adulthood) because of his losing beloved parents and the method of education in Sunagakure.
What makes a “serial killer” different from a “mass murderer”?
“Mass murderer”: Mass murder (massacre) is the act of murdering a large number of people, typically at the same time, or over a relatively short period of time. Mass murder may be committed by individuals or organizations.
The term may not always be applied in relation to the acts of serial killers, who may kill many people, but not necessarily all at the same time.
Except for the time killing the whole village, Sasori may still commit some “killing events” in the background that we don’t know. Thus, “serial killer” is more accurate.
Hope that those explanations will clarify a bit why I added 2 cats.
- P/S: I always welcome you to be my fellow wikipedian. There’s only one thing I want to say, please respect other editors’ edits and consider the info they put in the articles before “blindly reverting” because everyone must have their basis before they add certain details (except for IP and other vandalisers, I mean). Naruto-related articles seem to become a monopoly areas for some specific users like Someguy0830, Snapper, TTN and everything must come though their “censorship” before becoming an “official information”, which sometimes make me very annoyed… I hope that you won’t act like that and we’ll happily and equally collaborate to improve more articles. Just one quick comment. For the List of Naruto Arcs I fixed the incorrect name Suigetsu to the correct name Mizugetsu from the manga and you just said "no" and switched it back. I'm assuming you are reading the manga when you keep up with this.

Hi there, Someguy0830!
You seem to reverted my edits to Ben 10. I've got no problem with that, but can you tell me what I generally got wrong in my edits so I can do better next time?
Thanks, --PostScript 02:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi there. Would you happen to know of one or more fictional characters who have such an ability? I don't watch Ben 10, InuYasha, BLEACH, or Code Lyoko, but you do, right? Do any of the characters in those shows have such powers? Anyways, do ya mind helping me out here by helping me add the category to said characters? Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball) 08:52, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oh good, you're around. Do you know of any fictional characters with super hearing powers? Power level (Dragon Ball) 09:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Also, Neji Hyuga is a genius. Even the article says so and so does the series. What did you want me to read exactly? Power level (Dragon Ball) 09:16, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- What the hell does that mean?! He is a genius, that's it. Just like Sarutobi, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Sakura, Orochimaru, and Sasuke in the Naruto series. In DBZ, Son Gohan is considered a genius because he's a straight-A student! Guess what? Even Neji was a straight-A student because he had the highest scores in the academy class. Where there even a discussion about him not being a genius on a talk page or somethin'? Power level (Dragon Ball) 09:23, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm guessing you don't have a reason, do you? I'll re-add it back since you seem to understand my point. Power level (Dragon Ball) 09:29, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Calm down, dude. It's just an article. Now tell me, what two characters of the seven/eight I listed above did you mean are actually geniuses? And seriously, accept the fact that Neji is a genius according to three reasons given in the manga:

- He was top of the graduating academy class with straight A's
- His sensei, Might Guy, reveals to Rock Lee that Neji is a genius
- That Hyuga guy (Hiashi, methinks his name) says that he is a genius during the Chunin examinations
- Basically, Neji is a genius overall, both in brains and in ability. What more do ya want? If you want manga scans, I'll get them for you... besides, you claim to have the Naruto databooks, right? What does it say about Neji's profile? Power level (Dragon Ball) 09:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- So, Shikamaru and who else is a genius? I understood just now what you meant. Ya coulda just said that Neji was a genius in talent, not brains. So, who else? Son Gohan or Orochimaru? Or is it the Third? ... ... ... Power level (Dragon Ball) 09:51, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Let me explain to you why the above jutsu is a "recognizable" technique of his:
- In the manga, he is first seen using it to stretch his head to bite Sasuke in order to curse him
- In the manga, he is seen using it again to bite Jiraiya during the three Sannin battle (but couldn't curse Jiraiya since his arms were useless at the time)
- He does it once more when he impales four-tailed Kyubi Naruto by extending his head and releasing an extended Kusanagi to Naruto
- See what I mean? It is a notable, yet "recognizable" ability/skill/technique/jutsu of his; nothing more, nothing less. Power level (Dragon Ball) 21:01, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just be more civil then. So, I'll re-add the ability since it is a notable and common jutsu of his. Any other objections? Power level (Dragon Ball) 21:51, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, you're good with citations, right? Can you help me fix the two links on List of Saiyans in Dragon Ball#Burdock? I've tried and tried but could not get them to appear. It's so hard! - Genesis in the Christian Bible is very incomplete, Judaic records have much more of a complete record. The Christian Bible excludes many of the names, especially the females. The beginning of the Antediluvian period begins at ~4000 BC. I can change the wording around to generalize it. I can also change the heading to Creationist Beliefs or something of that nature as well. Pyroteknx 03:30, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I was rather tired that day.. In fact, I'm kinda tired right now. I added the seven (actually I think it was ten..) spaces because it would've overlapped with another template.. I have no real excuse for not discussing the changes; I can't even remember why I added it. Also, I think I added the the wrong template; The first one I was trying to add would've overlapped with the text of the other template, but the second one probably would've just had part of it behind the other template.. If I did in fact add that one. I thought I mentioned the change on the talk page, but I guess not.Repku

Hello Someguy0830,
I edited the Maito Gai (Might Guy) article in January because it had sounded like he was being down-played on his own article. I will edit Maito Gai's, or any other character's article I feel like -- if I think something else about the article doesn't sound right and can be worded better -- just like one can do on Wikipedia. Now do you see? Do you understand?

I still think that this is unencyclopedic. All it contains is a pair of abilities that "might-or-might-not" be kekkei genkai. Now, you said that pointing them out is not Original Research; so I retract that claim. However, there is something wrong with that, and I don't know the proper term.
Point being, the article is about kekkei genkai, not abilities that could possibly be bloodline traits. The same situation would occur if one added to its relevant article: "The Forth Hokage may be Naruto's father, or it could just be a coincidence."
Now, I agree that having mouths in your palm might seem like something you would see in a kekkei genkai, due to most bodily abilities (Byakugan, Sharingan, etc) being bloodline limits. So in that case, Hidan's immortality and voodoo technique might be a kekkei genkai. So could Kazuku's cables and body-hardening. And it doesn't stop there, since Mokuton and Hyoton have little to do with one's body. Maybe Tayuya's capability to use her flute is a kekkei genkai because it mixes chakra in some unmentioned way or another. Perhaps Shikamaru's shadow manipulation jutsu are like Haku's ice-manipulating jutsu, in that they are jutsu triggered by a kekkei genkai. The list could go on and on.
Furthermore, Kidomaru's extra arms and web secretions and Shino's capability of hosting destruction bugs are, in my opinion, the closest things to kekkei genkai in the series. But those have been officially stated not to be kekkei genkai. That said, the "affects the body" bit of evidence has been taken out of the equation. So really, there's no basis on guessing whether an ability is blood-related or not. Until officially stated, they should be taken off. You Can't See Me! 21:40, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Ben10showlogo.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Ben10showlogo.JPG. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Malkinann 22:46, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Your edits to Ino Yamanaka
- Look, Ino is training to become a medical ninja like Sakura. For proof go to the talk page and visit the video. Please do not remove Ino's medic-nin rank again. Candyo32 03:13, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Someguy0830. As parallel, academy students are training to become ninja, but they shouldn't be labeled as such until they complete their training. –Gunslinger47 05:39, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
This getting rid of stuff thing...
Someguy, you have a real bad habit of getting rid of my things and other people's things we edit and you delete them without a good reason why. "Pointless", "so", and "no" aren't very good reasons why you get rid of people's edits. And just because you don't like them does not mean you can get rid of them because you hate them. So please stop with this rude bad habit you have. --Naruto134 3:11, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Just you wait you stubborn idiot, when someone else puts what I put and that you got rid of, your going to feel pretty stupid for not believing someone who was telling the truth. --Naruto134 10:57, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

This means the mummy alien was freed by Ghostfreak, it defrosted or another of its kind appeared.

- "I'm sure all the wikipedia users hate you because of what you always do!"
- Actually I find it somewhat amusing. Someguy0830 does good work on Wikipedia and is quite knowledgeable of policy. He could use some more civil and verbose explanations, I suppose, but it's not my place to complain. –Gunslinger47 01:19, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

- God dang it Someguy, quit following me! I'm sickin's tired of you butting in my business! Go annoy someone else with the editing stuff! Bewildebeast said on his page to stop with the personal attacks and emotive language which you are doing!
"To be honest I think you both need to calm down and clearly and calmly explain your positions to each other without resorting to any kind of personal attack or emotive language. The whole thing's been blown way out of proportion, by both of you."
I know he was talking me but he was also talking to you too! --Naruto134 4:38, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- How is The Return talk page a personal attack to you? I was just asking people if they watched The Return previews and prove to you that the mummy alien and the yenaldooshi things were true. That had absolutely nothing to do with a personal attack. Your just saying that because you delete everything I put on wikipedia.--Naruto134 6:16, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- But the one thing I was right about is you being rude which you are. I know said some rude things, but your the one encouraging me to say rude things, so it's mostly your fault for me saying rude things. If you hadn't said:

"pointless, this is lame, stop being a idiot, don't be a moron, quit acting like a child"
than I wouldn't have been rude. Now if you responded nicely, I wouldn't have been rude and lost my temper. Besides, you sort of deserved the dissing for being so rude and responding rudely. If you would of responded like this:
"Please wait till the episode airs to put this information. Thank you."
I would have understand and wait until the episode airs. But instead, you answered like this:
"no speculation. I don't care. It's still speculation. Quit being ignorant for once and pay attention. It is speculation when you speculate on why they're back. Period. You can complain all you want and WP:V supports me. Deal with it.".
Answering like that is unexpectable and makes me lose it. And now you understand why I repeat editings and why I start hissy fitts. To prevent this, say the following in bold. --Naruto134 6:46, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm trying to be nice to you but you keep responding to me rudely. Please, how is it hard for you to be nice? Your trying to pick a fight with me and your acting like I'm the bad guy and right now, I trying to be nice and asking you nicely, please respond nicely to me next time when I edit something. I mean it, I will respond more nicely and understand if you would calmly resond to me nicely. If you keep saying rude things then I wouldn't understand. And if you say I'm choosing not to understand, then you're wrong. I would really understand if people would answer me nicely. And if your'e going to say something like you said on my talk page and ignore my beggings for you to be more nice, than you're a rude cruel person who does not understand other people's feelings.--Naruto134 7:11, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Ben 10 Omnitrix
Earlier I edited the page for The Omnitrix to add new information about some new updates that happened (I wasnt logged in at the time) and then you removed them. Now although the episodes haven't aired in America yet they have over here in the United Kingdom, I have the episodes recorded, and in them there were a few Omnitrix changes made such as Ben using The Mummy for the first time, Ben collecting the DNA from Dr Victor and then transforming into an Omitrix vertion of him and finally a new Ghostfreak icon appearing on The Omnitrix. Just letting you know that I wasn't making this information up.

Because at the Ben 10 page, it said it was redirected to from Hero Generations or something. --Naruto134 2:29, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Ben 10 articles
Will you please explain to me (as if I were a newbie here) what is going on with the Ben 10 articles? All 36 of them have been turned into redirects. I've never before seen such a brazen act of vandalism -- and it appears to be condoned by you and others. -- Jason Palpatine 06:55, 1 May 2007 (UTC) This User wishes (but too often fails) understanding of Wikipedia's systematized logistical projection of its balanced policy contingency. (speak your mind | contributions)
- While certainly brazen, it isn't vandalism. Boldness, yes, and quickness on the trigger one might even say, but not vandalism. Those articles were a mess, anyway, as all they did was summarize the plot. That can be done in a single paragraph. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:05, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Did anyone ever tell you that you have a talent for understatement? I don't remember what show that line is from. Detailed sumarizations are sometimes really all there is to it -- we are dealing with fiction here. Maybe we should just delete the whole Ben 10 material in it's entirty? After all, Sumarization is still a large (majority) part of the whole thing. I told you before, a lot of people pout a lot of effort into those articles. Quite franklly, I'm tempted to be as brazen as him.
- In all fainess, if we are going to stick with this brazen decision, then the List of Ben 10 episodes article will need to be enlarged. Too enlarged. The paragraphs for each episode section will need to be enhanced to provide at least some real degree of plot information. A handfull of sentences just doesn't cut it.
- Out of curiosity -- why were you surprised by the fact that I am the one objecting in this matter?
- As for the synopsiss articles, there are many precidents all over the web for such articles. Have you ever been the the Lurker's Guide To Babylon 5? It contains detailed (more than even what we are discussing) plot synopsisses of every episode. Similar synopsises exist elsewhere. Is there a Ben 10 site where the synopisses can be moved to? Just as there is such a thing as too much, there is such a thing as too little. I submit that what we have been reduced to in this matter constitutes way too little. -- Jason Palpatine 07:21, 1 May 2007 (UTC) This User wishes (but too often fails) understanding of Wikipedia's systematized logistical projection of its balanced policy contingency. - I would agree that the episode descriptions need to be expanded, and yes, I have been told about my understating talents at least once before (completely serious). As for the episode articles, I wrote about a third of them, but that doesn't mean I'm terribly attached. The more general Ben 10 info has a few creator interviews and such for outside sources. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:25, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Must Revert Immediatly
I've been doing some looking around the site. There are MANY MANY simalar articles thoughout right here. Please take the time to follow the links bellow. Each one is similar to the original Ben 10 episodes liting. All of them (there are a lot more where these came from) are reference links to individulal episode articles:
- List of Doctor Who serials
- List of Star Trek: The Original Series episodes
- List of The 4400 episodes
- List of Babylon 5 episodes
- List of Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes
- List of Stargate Atlantis episodes
- List of Star Trek: Voyager episodes
- List of Star Trek: The Animated Series episodes
- List of Stargate SG-1 episodes
- List of The Outer Limits episodes
There are WAY too many examples/precidents on site for the ation we have been discussing to be allowed to stand. It is clearly a proper policy here for there to be a central listing of episodes article for a given series that provides links to individual articles for each episode. The extent of this practice is far too widespread though out the encylopedia for this to be considered anything but vandalism under the guise of editing/policy. If the fact that the articles contain mostly synopsisses, then people should endevoure to add whatever additional material they would consider helpfull.
Whatever, we must act quickly. Or is it the intention of TT and others to eliminate the entire extent of individual episodic articles everywhere on the encyclopedia? You put a lot of effort into those articles. You are an even bigger fan of the show than I could ever be -- there's just no comparison between the two of us. I only hold a pair of dueces whereas you have a royale flush.
You said earlier, that you were surprised by the fact that I am the one (only one it seems) objecting to what's happened here. To be blunt, given everything I've discovered over the past 2 hours, I am astounded that you, of all the people here, do not object. -- Jason Palpatine 09:18, 1 May 2007 (UTC) This User wishes (but too often fails) understanding of Wikipedia's systematized logistical projection of its balanced policy contingency. From My Talk Page:
- Jason, I'm sorry if it appears that I'm just being mean, and I'd like to apologize on behalf on Someguy and TTN if you feel that way about them too. I don't mean to be harsh, and I'm pretty sure that the others share my sentiments. We are just out to clean up articles so that they adhere to Wikipedia policy, and you have taken to defend that which we see as unnecessary. I'm very sorry if I offended you at all over the course of our debates. I shall try to be more civil in the debate from this point on, but may I ask that you try to be more civil as well? Regards, You Can't See Me!.
- Basically, what he said. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 09:10, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Apol accepted. And Apol reciprocated. It is now a moot point. You have your way. But I have said what I have had to say POV on the matter. It's all there -- all of us, in black and white, one way or the other. But I still feel the precedint you are establising is dangerous. So dangerous, that I almost put the matter up for review. Curiously, it wasn't an AFD, but AFD review was the only thing I could think of. I'm sorry if you guys feel the way you do. You have interpreted policy and utilized it -- but in a manner that I consider shocking. The only reason I have not posted a request for AFD review is on account of the fact that you support the action. What there was to be said has been said. Nuff said. -- Jason Palpatine 13:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Laser Tank edit
I see you edited the Space:1999 Laser Tank page I had made. Granted, it now looks a bit tidier, but in my mind the pics look too small, what about a small caption for them. If you don't know the subject some people might assume they are all the same vehicle at different angles. Douglasnicol 14:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Ichigo Kurosaki
I noticed that you edit the BLEACH articles quite regularly, correct? I'm still bothered with Ichigo Kurosaki's article due to the fact that he himself is also categorized in a superspeed category ever since this minour dispute occurred. According to User:Tjstrf, Ichigo is notable for having super-speed as his personal ability (unlike the other Shinigami who retrieve such powers automatically) — it really comes to this: is the character notable enough to gain a super speed category for himself? Didn't he retrieve that power when he became a Shinigami or did he always have that when he was "normal"? I placed all of the superhuman categories in Category:Shinigami in Bleach, but I'm kind of up and down with this one. A third person's opinion would make a difference and hopefully solve the problem. Peace. ~I'm anonymous
- Now I understand. If it was made a point several times in the series, then it should stay. What is a parent category? Is it Category:Fictional characters who can move at superhuman speeds? If so, Ichigo should be put there. ~I'm anonymous
- I see, the parent is the anime/manga cat., and the grandparent cat. is the fictional character cat., correct? I'm sure I've read this before. ~I'm anonymous
Out of context
Regarding User:Kelly Martin, by his "out of context" statement, he appeared to mean that they were "episode" screenshots and obviously were out of context elsewhere. Seems the only thing out of context here was Martin himself. :) –Gunslinger47 00:49, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
On the topic of Naruto images, I see you've been using a small bit of my work.[3] Thanks. :D Note that 480p is not really a "reduction" of NTSC which is 480i. >_< Don't worry about it, however. I'll get to fixing that eventually. I'm gradually scaling all images to 288p since that's the largest resolution that I suggested on WP:NONFREE talk which no administrator complained about. –Gunslinger47 02:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Wildmutt image.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Wildmutt image.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:11, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Italic type
You have now twice opposed my use of italic type in articles. However, I am asking you to read the Italic type article here, the policy pages on Manual of Style and Manual of Style (text formatting). Though not actually policy, it list some of the proper use of Italic type. I belive my use of it was not inappropriate. Without the Italic type, none of the names and such stand out -- it has no character. Yes, Italics are used for emphasis, but sparingly. I didn't consider what I was doing excessive. The only time I ever italic an entire block of sentences is when I am posting a quote (you've seen me do that). I will, of course be familiarizing my self with the to policy pages over the weekend. -- Jason Palpatine 06:34, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

My userpage
I think my user page is a little too big and I want to shorten it by making those templates with the "show" and "hide" buttons but I have no clue how to do that? Can you give me template info or a page explaining it (the template itself would be nice though considering I'm no good with directions)? Sam ov the blue sand 21:00, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. Oh and I left a well deserved barnstar for you on your page. Sam ov the blue sand 21:25, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
I don't see why not.
As the rules are clearly in my favor here, I'm going to keep the categories in the redirects until there is a concrete reason not to. And from your talk page it also seems like many other users have complained about changes you've made to Ben 10-related articles. --Piemanmoo 08:23, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- What that line means is that only the relevant categories go on the main page, not unrelated ones. "Fictional characters with exta arms" would not fit well on the omnitrix mainpage, but it does on the Fourarms one. I started the redirects because I was sick of looking at categories like "Fictional characters would can move at superhuman speeds" and seeing "Omnitrix" listed under there. The omnitrix itself doesnt have that power, XLR8 does. The whole point of the no categories on redirects rule is to prevent it from flooding a certain category with similar pages. Since each alien form has different characteristics and powers, there's absolutley nothing wrong with what I'm doing.
And as for Benmummy not being a mummy and such. Are you saying Stinkfly isn't an insect? And Ghostfreak isn't a ghost? Who are you to make that distinction? Obviously they're all aliens, but they have other classifications too. Benwolf is a werewolf on the fact that the whole episode of him is centered around him repeatedly stated it, and the whole purple lightning story arc showed that all three aliens were modeled after horror movie icons. The Benvicktor one is the only one of those that has been disputed, but since he is a Frankenstine monster some people have decided that it's close enough to undead. I for one don't care enough about that one, since there's no "Fictional frankenstine monsters" category.
If you'd stop and look at your talk page, you'd see that plenty of people are pissed at you for several revisions and changes you've made without consulting anyone. If you feel strongly about something, bring it up and the talk page first before blindly reverting everything to your own personal liking. Start a vote on whether or not people agree with you, and maybe you won't be looked at as a borderline vandal.--Piemanmoo 19:00, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I'm sick of this edit war that you insist on fighting. The rules clearly allow this, but since you have such strong feelings on it I'll set up a vote on the talk page. We'll give it 5 days and see who wants the categories kept and who wants them gone. --Piemanmoo 21:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- If you feel that cannonbolt's not an armadillo, then take out the catagory for fictional armadillos and leave it at that. But there's little debate one wether or not Upgrade is a technopath or that Fourarms has superhuman strength. What I don't understand is why you have a problem with that. You're acting like you're doing a good thing by removing all uneccesary categories, but what you're really doing is removing each and every one. So don't use the "Oh well, benmummy's not an actual mummy, so I guess XLR8 doesn't move at superhuman speeds either" excuse, because it doesn't make a lick of sense.
Now judging from your talk page it doesnt look like you're the type of person to give a shit what anyone other than yoursef thinks, so I'm going to help you out by starting a poll where everyone can have their fair say. After 5 days if everyone agrees with you then I'll personaly take down all the categories. But if they agree with me, then most likely what will happen is you'll continue to be too stubborn and you'll keep taking them off until an admin comes in and tells you to stop. But hopefully that won't happen, okay? --Piemanmoo 22:23, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Although it is the right thing to do, you should probably stop reverting him. He is just as relentless as you are, so really the only thing that will come out of this is both of you being blocked for a bit. Nemu 23:46, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I want you to explain something to me: If I'm on some page and I click on the category "Fictional characters with superhuman strength" and then I see Fourarms listed there, what's the problem? -Piemanmoo 23:58, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Now, see, this is very your argument starts to get shakey. First you say that there shouldn't be any categories on any redirect pages period. Then when I ask you why you point out individual categories and the problems you have with them by themselves, which is an entirely different subject. It doesn't take you to a different page. When you click on the fourarms link, it brings you right up to the fourarms bio on the omnitrix page. If you scroll up you see that it's a redirect. So what's the confusion? If you click on the "Redirected from" link at the top you'd see that there's no seperate page for Fourarms. What you're saying is someone's going to be all "Wow, look at all these ficitonal characters with superhuman stength! Hey look at this one called Fouramrs. *click* WHAT THE HELL THIS IS SOME PAGE CALLED OMNITRIX WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING
ON OH GOD MY BRAIN!!!!!" and they'd fall out of their chair and die of shock. Is that what you think will happen? People will realize that not every character on that page falls under that category, and it's obvious why the cat was on the redirect.
As for your second argument, not all aliens have superhuman strength. Just look at Grey Matter. Adding "Fictional characters with superhuman strenght" to the Omnitrix page itself would not be appropriate. Now, if every alien on there did then I'd agree with you, but that's just not the case. So, let's just assume for now that all those categories apply to all those aliens, and that Benmummy counts as a mummy, ect. After this is all sorted out, we can discuss those issues seperatley.
Now, if I'm looking at the category "Fictional technopaths" and see "Upgrade (Ben 10)" I fail to see how even you could see a problem with that. Explain to me how that makes Wikipedia unencylopedic in some way.--Piemanmoo 00:24, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, now this is exactly where your head completley goes up your ass. NOT ALL OF THE CATEGORIES APPLY TO EVERY ALIEN.
- Look at this for a second. See how all of those cats at the bottom do not belong there? The Omnitrix is not a fictional fish. Ripjaws is. When someone is looking through the cat of Fictional fish they shouldn't see "omnitrix" they should see "Ripjaws". I can't believe you still dont get this. Do I have to spoon-feed it to you? --Piemanmoo 00:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I don't know how many times I'm going to have to explain this to you, so just take your time and read what I say for once. And once you finish, re-read it again so you completley understad it. The Widget Armadillo argument is invalid because of the fact that there are no redirects to it. If the mascot itself was popular enough to warrant it's own redirect page then the category of fictional armadillos would go on it. But since you even said yourself that no redirects exist to the main page from the mascot, your whole argument in invalid. QED.
Now stop hiding behind faulty excuses and answer this simple question: 'Do you think that the Omnitrix should be counted as a fictional blind character, or a ficitonal character that can move at superhuman speeds? Or should Wildmutt and XLR8 be categorized as such? And don't pull that "oh, well technicaly wilmutt's not blind because he's not lacking eyesight he jus doesnt have any". For the sake of argument, all those categories would apply to the character's main page if they were notable enough to have their own. So if we pretend that Grey Matter had his own, sperate page, would he deserve to have Fictional technical experts on it. --Piemanmoo 05:23, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
So when someone is looking through the category of Fictional lizards, you'd rather them see "Omnitrix" instead of "XLR8"? --Piemanmoo 05:38, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- But what I'm saying is that it's much more encyclopedic to have the characters themselves be named on the category page. If I'm looking to make a list of fictional technopaths for some, I dunno, school project or something, I'd want to know exactly what character it is. Putting the categories on the redirect pages doesn't harm anything. I'll say it again, putting the categories on the redirect pages doesn't harm anything. It doesn't make wikipedia any less organized, and if anything all it does it keep it clearer. But I really don't expect you to suddenly realize this, as you're obviously too stubborn to admit that I've already handed you a plate full of your ass (with all the trimmings) numerous times already. So let's just leave it alone for now an see what others on the Omnitrix talk page have to say about it. Unlike you, I'm actualy trying to make wikiepdia more organized. --Piemanmoo 05:53, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- What you need to realize is that when the categories dont fit the page, they're supposed to go on the redirects. I'm not going to say it anymore. Brody Mitchum is a fictional rapist and football player, not the list of heroes character page. Ma-Ti is an empath, not the list of planeteers page. Wildvine is a plant character, not the omnitrix. Boris is a fictional hacker, not the list of Goldeneye villans. Categories that dont fit on the page itself go on the redirects. Get that through your incredibely thick skull already. Categories that dont fit on the page itself go on the redirects. Dear God, how can anyone be this dense? Leave it alone already. --Piemanmoo 07:02, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Whoever said anything about categorizng every single redirect? I'm just making categories more effective by adding relevant entries, redirects or articles. If you'll notice, all of the redirects I'm adding categories too have already had some on them long before me. So don't get the impression that I'm all alone in this endeavor, because that's you. --Piemanmoo 07:16, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Wrong. It means that the category only applies to part of the article that you are redirecting to. --Piemanmoo 07:39, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- That's still not a good enough reason to decatagorize redirects. Unless eplicitley stated, the rules say there is nothing wrong with it. That's what the majority of wikipedians have decided, and judging from your stubborness you dont care what others want, only what you do. I'm going to continue to categorize redirects and so will other people. Until there is made a clear, unambigious rule against you can have fun reverting every change we make you you can get banned from breaking the 3 Revert Rule. --Piemanmoo 07:45, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- And seeing how you're not even bold enough to do the editing yourself, you use a script to undo every action I make on here. Real mature. --Piemanmoo 07:47, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Once again, you, to quote Maddox: "With the eloquence of a drunk eating his own puke, you stumbled through this fact completely oblivious." According to the rules, if a category fits a redirect then by all means add it. Just look at the hundred of redirects with categories on them, and you'll see that you're the one in the minority here.
And quite Frankly, I'm sick of arguing with you because it's obvious you're just a child who wants everything his own way. Unlike you, I've actualy taken into consideration how others feel on this subject, and have created a poll on it. I propose we let them do the talking for a while, because if I cant talk some sense into you then maybe they can. So STFU for once and listen to other people's thoughs on the omnitrix talk page. You can voice your opinion on there too, but try not to harrass everyone on there, which I bet you'll eventualy do.
Consider this debate put on hold for 5 days, starting now.--Piemanmoo 07:55, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
