Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put

[edit]Hi The Rim of the Sky! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Signature template
[edit]I moved it to User:The Rim of the Sky/Signature/TheRimoftheSky since user templates don't go in the main space. If you want a custom signature you can make one in Special:Preferences. See WP:SIG for more information. ... discospinster talk 23:27, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
I guess I should thank you for not deleting the stub but only moving it. As for the signature part, I already have that done. I'm more firmiliar with Wikia then Wikipedia, so its name was different. Thanks for the help.

Replaceable fair use File:ZilphaKeatlySnyderClose.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ZilphaKeatlySnyderClose.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:53, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi Stephen, listen, I just thought I just put it there because that's what the author prefers to use on her website a lot. I just thought it wouldn't be fair if we used a different picture that was a bit similar, that's probably who she prefers to be seen. I just wanted to reply to you because I didn't know if you would be a good enough reason on the link you gave me. ☞ Яǐɱ (Chat with Meh) (Updates)
Your signature
[edit]Hello, I've noticed that there a number of problems with your signature. Firstly, you're using a template: User:The Rim of the Sky/Signature/TheRimoftheSky. This is really not a good idea, since anyone can edit that page. Secondly, your signature is far too long. The maximum length is 255 characters of code - yours is 330. Thirdly, it links to User blog:The Rim of the Sky, which is (and will remain) a non-existent page. Fourthly, your signature doesn't add the time of posting, meaning that a bot has to do it for you. This has been pointed out to you before. Fifthly, the colours you have chosen (the yellow in particular) make it very difficult to read. Please read WP:SIGNATURES and choose a signature in your preferences that complies and doesn't use a template, then add {{db-user}} to your signature page. Thank you. BencherliteTalk 18:22, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry about that! I spend most of my time on Wikia. Things are sort of different there. I just copied my signature from there, and I will take away the user blog thing. Sorry about the problem. I don't know why time is messing up I have to do it like this:

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Robin Walker (game coder), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:07, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello The Rim of the Sky. We have noticed some unusual traffic coming from your computer related to "hats". We believe this is a serious obsession and, as one of your friends, I am willing to stage an intervention to prevent this obsession from getting worse. Don't make me do that because as you know I am very, very, very lazy. Asm20
