Please stop unilaterally editing and start discussing
Please stop trying to impose your preferred version on articles and start discussing on article talk pages. Your behaviour is becoming disruptive. DuncanHill (talk) 21:16, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- The basic code of Wikipedia is be bold, its not disruptive to change an article to what you think is correct. The Quill (talk) 21:17, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- It is disruptive to incorrectly mark edits as minor, as you have been doing. It is disruptive to remove correct categories from articles, as you have been doing. It is disruptive to ignore requests to discuss your changes on article talk pages, as you have been doing. DuncanHill (talk) 21:21, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- The hitting of the minor key on the last edit was a mistake, i do fully understand that it wasn't minor, i have a slightly sticky mouse. The changing of a catergory to a just as valid one that makes just as much sense seems prefectly correct to me. The Quill (talk) 21:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- It is good practice to categorise at the deepest appropriate level. As the "Cornish" cats are in the British or English category trees, it is appropriate to use them, not the higher level categories. I also note that you used a misleading edit summary when introducing a redlinked category on the Lord Protector category. Now, please discuss your proposed changes on the article talk pages in future, if you do not start to do this but continue as you have been doing I shall have to ask for admin intervention. DuncanHill (talk) 21:27, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware that I was working for a health and safety firm in which you can't take a step without having to fill out a form. My summary gave the perfectly correct summing up of the changes i made to lord protector. The Quill (talk) 21:32, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- You are working in a collaborative project in which failure to discuss contentious changes, such as Cornish to British or English to British is likely to be seen as disruptive and unwelcome. Your edit to Lord Protector introduced a non-existent category and removed an existing one, your edit summary made no mention of recatagorising. DuncanHill (talk) 21:36, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. You have previously been advised of the format agreed by the editors of Cornish related article subjects, to stop the nationalistic editing of articles by various factions. To continue to pursue your interpretation, with its inherent potential for re-igniting said nationalistic based edit warring, is extremely irresponsible - and I have removed your editing privileges until there is some indication that you are prepared to work to an established consensus even if you do not care for it.
