January 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Northern Lawn Tennis Club have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. You replaced appropriate content for the encyclopedia with completely inappropriate promotional content. This is completely unacceptable. Wikipedia isn't a social media/promotional vehicle. Julietdeltalima (talk) 19:11, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Northern Lawn Tennis Club. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. In addition to this, please do not assume ownership of articles. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. SkyWarrior 19:14, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
