- I'm the room-mate of The Mekon vandal (yep, my name is inspired by him). Also, you mistakenly tagged WMarsh as the same vandal. He's not! We are all behind the same IP address as we access the Internet through the same router. The anonymous "The Mekon" vandal sneakily used WMarsh's computer/logged-in account in an attempt to masquerade one of his edits. The Mekon 19:26, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- I thought it would amuse you to see an edit in good faith by The Mekon in the Going Live! article. Hopefully it did! The Mekon 19:28, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you, The Mekon, for the cryptic poem you left on my user page. —this is messedrocker

- That truly is a poem of excellence. On a related note, may I borrow your userbox? I want to adapt it slightly. Reply on here, I've got you "on my watchlist" (I'm stalking you). --Dreaded Walrus 22:20, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello.
[edit]Hello. User:Pedant 22:42, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hello. I noticed that you had some sort of interest in Fluence, and now you have some sort of interest in me. As you apparently take Wikipedia quite seriously (please don't take that negatively), you almost certain aren't somebody I already know, so you're after having a quiet word in my ear followed by a slap. This is understandable. That all sounded very serious, which isn't really the case - I'm just intrigued. I appreciate the friendly hello. Hi! The Mekon 22:59, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

- I don't think so. Yes it's your own humour but used against you so what would I be losing? I just took rid of your comment, word play--Fluence 23:43, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Fluence, quoting something verbatim is NOT word play. The Mekon 11:11, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe not, but making fun of your against-Keane status with a phrase of your own certainly is--Fluence 23:56, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Blocked again
[edit]Yes, I have blocked you for a week. Surely you understand why, so I'll simply direct other admins to your contributions.--MONGO 22:43, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- Surely, as a known "well-adjusted and fair" power person, you would have seen fit to block Fluence in much the same way? Or is it the case that there's no friend for you to do a "favour" for in that particular case? Hmm? The Mekon 13:17, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- You actually chose to call yourself MONGO! That's an excellent name.
- Shut Up Fluence
- No--Fluence 23:46, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Shut up and go and listen to some proper music like Big Black
- No, you shut up. I'm not going to listen a guitar-rock-band which dissapeared 19 years ago... And don't think I'm fan of those guys. I read that on their Wikipedia article which is the same shit...--Fluence 00:03, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Fluence, if you continue to use my talk page as a battleground for your own issues, I am going to have you reported. Again. The Mekon 00:09, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Mmm, let's think who would be blocked first. I for posting messages on your talk page or you for offending people on their talk pages?--Fluence 22:16, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have already been blocked. That's over now, Fluence - it doesn't give you the right to make up your own Wikipedia rules just for the sake of defending an unpopular band. The Mekon 23:02, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Keane... and Fluence
[edit]I am particularly considerate about what I said in the talk page. Somehow, I am affraid not to sound too harsh for the boy. I realise that I don't like the guy, but yet again... I just don't want to hurt him too badly. I hope that... I hope that he will fuck off my admonitions (at least the latest one), but yet again I hope that he won't fuck off Wikipedia. It's always bad to lose possible collaborators. Even that kind of collaborators...
- Regards: Painbearer 22:54, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
By the way, I think the article is turning good. But yet again, I just don't want to predict what will happen if we enter another rever war... again.
Sorry. My bad. But I was certainly very amused by all this Fluence-flaming over you. That poor bastard really deserves nothing but pity.
- Regards: Painbearer 16:44, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not angry at all. I almost felt bad for removing it. Yes, Fluence is hilarious. The Mekon 16:52, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Your edits against Tom Chaplin
[edit]Even if it's purely your opinion, you cannot offend a person (don't even think about a country) on the talk page or even on your user page. YOU'LL FIND SERIOUS TROUBLE IF YOU CONTINUE TO. I've accused you of vandalism to the talk page for offending a person, and please, I mean, I'm not stupid to know I've edited with that IP. It's logical. Since it's vandalism what I reverted I don't care about admins "coming after me". Oh, I'm so scared!!...--Fluence 00:00, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- You're entirely insane. Keane is not an important band - to get worked up like this really is a sign of mental illness. Continue vandalising my page if you're so inclined! The Mekon 00:24, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- You don't own Wikipedia, Fluence. You can't censor other people's opinions, particularly on their own user pages. Enjoy trying, and legions of users will enjoy seeing you gone. The Mekon 00:35, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- So? You ain't either. And you can't offend people.--Fluence 00:54, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
What does this edit have to do with improving this article, and how is it not defamatory and inappropriate for any user to post? —Centrx→talk • 00:03, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- What does your face have to do with not shutting up? The Mekon 00:08, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- That was a joke. I'm sorry. Look, Fluence is REALLY not a bright person, and is very zealous about Keane. He doesn't contribute good content - he simply isn't capable. He's just a walking, talking attitude problem, and exactly the sort of person that makes Wikipedia a laughing stock. The Mekon 00:22, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
So you added this to Talk:Keane, the talk page of the Keane article, in order to spite Fluence? —Centrx→talk • 00:25, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, I just thought it was funny, lighthearted content for a talk page. The Mekon 00:27, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
It is not appropriate. Do not post any such jokes to this or any other talk page again. —Centrx→talk • 00:33, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Any user removing it from the talk page is perfectly right in doing so. Removing your jokes is not vandalism. —Centrx→talk • 00:36, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- You make it sound as if I just wrote "omg keane is gay" or something along those lines. I posted an example of a web comic related to the band to show popular opinion - perhaps a disclaimer was necessary. The Mekon 00:37, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Of course you didn't. If that's about popular opinion, why do you say is an awful band that only like children and that kind of shit? No magazine nor paper had ever said that--Fluence 00:47, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- You know, I won't revert your user page again. No one visits it so I don't care about it. Now, if another people wish to revert it, I don't care but remember is not me--Fluence 01:00, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Is not meaningless, but I just don't care since I know what I'm doing is not vandalism--Fluence 01:09, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, actually is Mexican but Is not mine and you can't prove anything, because I posted a message on the Keane's official forum telling about your comments to be deleted. Several people there don't like Wikipedia but sometimes they act. And with some logic, you can find out there actually is a P&G headquater in Mexico as well as in the rest of the world.--Fluence 01:42, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Semi-protecting your user page
[edit]I have blocked User:Fluence for 24 hours for vandalizing your user page. I can semi-protect it so that IPs or sockpuppets cannot edit it, if you wish. —Centrx→talk • 01:40, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. Don't worry - I'll survive.The Mekon 01:41, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
