Not that you care to hear my opinion (or anyone else's, I think), but if you want to file an RfC that has a remote chance of not getting laughed out of court, you might make this an RfC/U on Northamerica. The rest is just a bunch of baloney. Drmies (talk) 19:27, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you are going to file an RFC in which you admit to have nominated an article for deletion - "on the basis of it being sourced to minor mentions in local news sources" then don't be surprised if the RFC becomes a debate about your own deletion tagging. If you'd also checked whether there were other sources available then I suggest you add that, but at the moment it reads as if you are admiting that you don't practice wp:Before and are surprised that this puts you in conflict with parts of the community.
