[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Thompson submachine gun, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's Bold, revert, and discuss policy. You have made an addition to the Thompson submachine gun article, which was reverted as unremmarkable trivia by user hohum. Rather than readding the same trivia again, please take to the talk page to discuss and see if you can gain agreement that it is relevant to that particular article - perhaps it may belong in Dad's Army, but the fact that a character in a sitcom wanted to plkay with the gun is not relevant on the gun page. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Thompson sub-machine gun, you may be blocked from editing. IdreamofJeanie (talk) 08:33, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Thompson submachine gun shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 08:42, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

Psalm 148
[edit]Why did you revert your addition of the text? It's welcome. Please look at psalms such as Psalm 75 for how it should look. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:20, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 28
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rothbury, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Norse, Newcastle and Dwarf (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Alexander Armstrong to Rothbury (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:35, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
