Request reason:
I understand that my actions were perceived as advertising or self-promotion, and I sincerely apologize for any disruption this caused. I now fully recognize that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that values neutrality and notability above all. In future contributions, I will ensure that my edits comply with these principles and avoid conflicts of interest. I will focus on improving Wikipedia in a constructive and policy-compliant manner. I kindly request reconsideration of my block so I can contribute positively. Thank you. TheRithik (talk) 08:30, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Please be more specific than this general statement. What did you do wrong? What will you do differently? What edits do you intend to make? (Such as what articles or topic areas) 331dot (talk) 12:49, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Request Reason:
I now understand that my previous edits violated Wikipedia’s conflict of interest and notability guidelines. Specifically, I realize that my edits were promotional in nature, which is not aligned with Wikipedia’s goal of maintaining neutrality. I apologize for this oversight.
I have since reviewed the relevant policies, including the guidelines on conflict of interest and notability, and I fully understand the importance of maintaining a neutral point of view and adhering to notability standards.
Moving forward, I plan to focus on contributing to articles that are unrelated to any personal or business interests. Specifically, I will concentrate on expanding and improving articles related to [insert topics unrelated to any conflicts of interest here, e.g., open-source software, public domain historical events, etc.], ensuring that all contributions are properly sourced and meet Wikipedia's neutrality and notability requirements.
I kindly request that you reconsider my block, and I assure you that any future contributions will comply fully with Wikipedia’s content policies.
Thank you for your consideration.
- I would discuss unblocking you, but with you, not a chatbot. Try again in your own words and without the bot, please. Seraphimblade Talk to me 16:29, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
Requesting unblock
I have understood the reason for my block, the article that i published is more like advertising and promotional which is against the Wikipedia polices, I had learned from my mistake as this is my 1st article kindly please accept my apologie and unblock me
Thank you for considering my request
- Firstly, it appears pretty clear that you are being compensated to edit, either directly or by being asked or expected to as a duty of employment. Is that correct? If so, why were the required disclosures not made? Seraphimblade Talk to me 19:26, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
Firstly no one had paid me anything i had made this article out of my interest i heard about this company this is a aerospace startup company were they are working to build the EVTOL, when i talked to them i felt there journey inspiring and i want to write an article on there company as my 1st article but as this is my 1st article i made the mistake of overseeing the polices of Wikipedia and used some words which are more likely advertising and self promotion, Now i understood clearly about the policy's next time when i write an article i will look over my words, and my source for the article carefully
- Not sure I buy that, but given that you assert that, if you were to be unblocked, it would be on condition that you do not do any more editing about Agmay whatsoever. Do you have anything else you're interested in editing? If so, what? Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:00, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- i accept your condition and i won't do any more editing on Agmay, yes i am interested in editing more on the technology side like how the new technologies are entering into the markets, how these technologies are changing the human needs etc. TheRithik (talk) 20:27, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- I've unblocked your account per that condition. I will also note that creating an appropriate new article is quite difficult, so I recommend gaining experience editing existing articles before you try a new one. Once you think you are ready, use of the draft and articles for creation process initially is probably better than jumping straight to creation in mainspace. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:38, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for understanding, i will follow your advice and work on some existing articles, once again thank you for unblocking me TheRithik (talk) 20:45, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Seraphimblade:, this editor appears to have reconsidered his acceptance of your simple and clear unblock condition by re-creating a new draft at Draft:Agmay and submitting it. Any objections to reapplying the block? Sam Kuru (talk) 10:58, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
- Now reblocked, thanks for letting me know. As to you, TheRithik, appeal instructions are as above, but don't bother asking me again. Seraphimblade Talk to me 11:00, 8 October 2024 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, TheRithik. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Agmay, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 19:13, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
