Please note that we don't create our own original research definitions of what is or isn't a metropolitan area; we simply replicate Statistics Canada's numbers. If they don't designate a place as a metropolitan area or a census agglomeration, then neither do we, and we don't perform our own new recalculations to create one where they haven't already designated one either.
