A tag has been placed on Thejackalbe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 02:39, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Re: Thejackalbe

[edit]

Re your messages: The reason why the article was deleted was because you did not establish why he is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Merely having videos on YouTube does not make him notable. What makes a person notable can be seen on the CaptainSparklez article: multiple references from independent, reliable sources. It is not advertising in the news, but actual news articles about a person that makes them notable.

I had locked the article from being recreated because you had repeatedly created the article without establishing his notability. If you wish to write an article about him and you can provide the necessary references, I recommend that you create the article in your user space. Once you can show that he has the necessary references to meet the notability guidelines, I can unlock the article name and move it for you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:09, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
