Rollback
I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. FASTILY (TALK) 20:25, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've been looking forward to being able to making Wikipedia a safe place, and this will be a useful tool that I can use to revert bad edits. --TheGrimReaper 20:31, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Deletion problem
Hi,r u there ? i wanna help u in resolving the deletion prob. of the link which u hav just done some changes while i remove ur tag. Hamprey (talk) 08:56, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm online (Huggle notifies me about messages). Are there any problems you would like me to deal with? It was just that your last message was a bit unclear. --TheGrimReaper 08:59, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I m dealing with Ningombam Bupenda Meitei but its now currently under the deletion for the reasons simply that its sources r not valid n sufficient but ironically n wat makes feel n think funny about wikepedia is , the matter about the sources of information hav been resolved long back almost a year back n now suddenly some problems pop up n simply want to put an end to my article. Hamprey (talk) 09:06, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- True, there are many bizzare things about Wikipedia, but that is only a result of it being made by collaboration. If you want, I could post some helpful links on your talk page that could help you to understand why your article is in danger. --TheGrimReaper 09:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
For BBC n CNN , it will be difficult to retrieve though he was in one interview based in New Delhi two times but,its difficult to get those records back, u can see him participating in the discussions , after all , how can i bring all these proofs here, i need some more technical experts in media n TV for these n i m just a write up fellow here. Hamprey (talk) 10:56, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
seems bored by me Hamprey (talk) 09:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Would you like a helpful list of information about editing and guidelines? It wouldn't take me long to add it. --TheGrimReaper 09:16, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
sure but , i don't feel like reading a novel like rules n regulations here n to be true , i don't know how come my article is in danger n there is a talk in Adf about the deletion n no one replies there after me n to a great extent, i feel humiliated, besides these , before the tag for deletion , there were so many who came n edited simply to make fun of it n after a few days , all these bloody drama started n thus, i thought , its better to make a separate website n not to depend on wikepedia . There r so many who r of no use n still they r here in wikepedia simply bcoz they hav no rivalry but in my article, there is a rivalry so , i thought to humbly remove my article so that the neutrality n genuiness of the article remains intake.Hamprey (talk) 09:17, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- There's no need to feel humiliated; this happens all the time, and it is often resolved. Here are some steps you can take:
- Read the Deletion Warning.
- Check Wikipedia's guidelines to see where you've gone wrong.
- Edit your article to fix it.
- I'm not sure what happens next, but aren't you supposed to appeal or something?
--TheGrimReaper 09:25, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for ur help but to whom do i need to appeal n i will give u some links here for ur further knowledge of this deletion under the process , i think its been instigated by some few to enjoy in their intellectual war game with this article .
R u there , Bongo? I need to discuss about "Ningombam Bupenda Meitei" Hamprey (talk) 09:28, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Yes. Bongomatic 09:36, 15 October 2009 (UTC) well,is the article on "Ningombam Bupenda Meitei" going to be deleted ? The matter has been resolved long back.Hamprey (talk) 09:40, 15 October 2009 (UTC) So far I'm the only one who has opined at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ningombam Bupenda Meitei. I recommend you review WP:N and WP:BIO and then pop in there and say what you feel. Bongomatic 09:42, 15 October 2009 (UTC) But , i cant understand why did u do that ? I feel a bit hurt. Btw,the person is still living n the sources of information r from the newspapers whose names r mentioned but I also don't know how to link the sources so called "reliable sources". Before u bring this notice of getting deleted , some edited the article in a funny manner. Hamprey (talk) 09:45, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, internet has come late in India n the reports in the newspapers can't be linked through internet since those newspapers in some Indian states hav gone online almost after 2004 n the news here r related to before that but there is a hard copy n TV interviews for the article.Hamprey (talk) 09:50, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
if u feel that the article stands unworthy , then plz do let me know ,I will instead remove the article but I wish to see some logic n faith in the hard copy news in newspapers n TV channels in some remote places of the world which were taken place a long back.Hamprey (talk) 09:52, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
There is no requirements that citations be to online sources. Obviously it makes it much easier to verify whether the sources actually support the claims in the articles, but it is not required at all. There are many fine articles on notable topics that reference books and other materials unavailable online. Bongomatic 09:56, 15 October 2009 (UTC) Well, the reference related to the news from newspapers n TV channels r there n also a book of Havard publication is also there to talk about "Ningombam" in the article.Hamprey (talk) 10:01, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Ur reply is hoped to be speeded up a bit Hamprey (talk) 10:07, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Ur reply is hoped to be speedied up a bit. :)
Hi Hamprey The newspaper and radio references cited do not suggest that the subject received "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". Your above comment mentions the Harvard source, for example—it is inconceivable that a source dated 1908 provides significant coverage of someone born in 1987. The two newspaper references and the two other media references may be significant coverage, but you haven't suggested that they are. Bongomatic 22:58, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, speeded up is normally used in British English."Speedied" is wat i hav been made to hear here only. English to me means British English which i believe is the mother of all other evolved English. Hamprey (talk) 09:48, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ningombam_Bupenda_Meitei
plz comment after reading the above statements Hamprey (talk) 09:29, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- My comment is: you need to gather references from trusted third parties like the BBC or Sky or the news channel of their birthplace. Then you must use these references to build up a sort of timeline, starting from birth to the latest point in his/her life. This article is an example of a good biography. Then appeal at the deletion article. Also, removing the CSD notices is not advisable. --TheGrimReaper 09:37, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I hav used the TV channels n even the personal interview in ISTV in 2001 n then news from newspapers like The Imphal Free Press and The Poknapham daily in 2001 n 2002. But no one here has been convinced unless i bring some book published or some work published in the international journals , i think when the person gets the Nobel Prize or Man Booker's Prize,it would be sufficient to quench the thirst of reliable information of wikepedia.Hamprey (talk) 09:43, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
U say that the article is an example of a good biography but to my surprise ,why others can't accept it n i m afraid that , the issue may be settled n then after a year , some odd chaps wil come as a non-sensical critic n may erase or may put up some tags to pull my article down . My simple n humble question why the wikepedia which accepted my article almost one year back is now not keeping faith in my sources of information which i used the same when i created the article. I don't find any continual logic which seems to be broken by the instigation of a few deliberate chaps. Hamprey (talk) 09:46, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I can't seem to see any references, and the page has been blanked. I have an idea, however: Recreate the article Here and then tell me when you've finished. I'll fix a few things on the article for you, point a few things out that only you can fix, and when we're finished I can appeal. --TheGrimReaper 09:48, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- But , why can't i recreate in the same page of Ningombam Bupenda Meitei
tell me , do i need to recreate in the page that u hav shown me to do . Then ,i m doing now in a one minute. Hamprey (talk) 09:53, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Writing it in the normal article would probably cause problems, so it is better to start fresh in the page I recommended to you and then ask me to appeal and restore the article. --TheGrimReaper 09:55, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I hav already done that in the page that u told me to do so , then for restoring , i hav done it in my mails n i don't want my article to come in wikibin , thats so disgusting n truely humiliating. PLz do tel me wat n how to proceed , waiting for u .Hamprey (talk) 09:57, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Unfortunately, that is how Wikipedia works. But I have a question: what does "greeat moments" mean and how can it be improved? --TheGrimReaper 10:00, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Truely beautiful , "great moments" mean he had his great time n he did grow up as a man with great personalities , its the word that i hav used n in his life, when he was in sainik school imphal that he did get so many prizes n certificates both at national n state levels .Hamprey (talk) 10:04, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Ah. I see what you mean. But try to remove anything which could be leaning towards an opinion, and anything like that which removes the precisely biographical perspective from it. --TheGrimReaper 10:07, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
PLz do let me know how can we bring it back to a place where there is no such problem n i m realy bogged down. Its not only humiliating to my article but also to the living gentleman as he is as wat he is described here but wike doesn't believe in the proofs that i hav provided one year back since its 2009 n i m afraid i need to improve my references for 2010 n 11 n so on. Hamprey (talk) 10:08, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
PLz do remove those adjectives if u feel they r not so required or they may pose some problems . I m sure u r a good fren of mine. Hamprey (talk) 10:09, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I hope u hav gone for some nature's call or taking a sip of coffee Hamprey (talk) 10:19, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
We can restore if you address these issues: 1. Who is L.(insert surname here)? Please include full names and even links if possible. 2. Have a check through to make sure it's correct after my edits. --TheGrimReaper 10:21, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Who is this "L"? i don't know , m sorry , plz do let me know this , i can't get wat u r saying . Hamprey (talk) 10:24, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sometimes you just provide an initial instead of a first name. Plerase replace thse initials with full names and maybe even, if the articles are available, links. --TheGrimReaper 10:27, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
The full name is Laldinkima Sailo, a former President of St.Stephen's Students Union. Hamprey (talk) 10:32, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Please correct those errors by adding the full name for each person mentioned. --TheGrimReaper 10:33, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
For each n every thing, to mention links , i think there r all there in google if we do some google search .Hamprey (talk) 10:37, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- If the Indian news service has a website, and it contains an article about this person, please cite it using the cite or ref buttons on your toolbar and I will assign them to a certain area. Also, BBC may have an article about it. --TheGrimReaper 10:39, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, for Brig. T. Sailo, i don't its full form of "T" , u urslef can find out from here http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=Brig.+T+.+Sailo&meta=&aq=f&oq= n the website or online publication has come late after 2004 in the state from which he comes from n even the news r only in hard copy but recently it has become online but there is no online record of that but the hard copy exists for that which i can't show here as there is online link for that Hamprey (talk) 10:43, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
You have to consider, however, is he notable enough? If he is, you need references from a famous third-party website such as BBC. If you find a news article, send the details (address, name of writer, date retrieved, etc) and I'll add it. --TheGrimReaper 10:45, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
OK , i will try to find out the dates , btw, the gentleman has written some articles in www.e-pao.net , u can find it here in this link (added by TGR to reduce layout trouble) Hamprey (talk) 10:52, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Date Found, Author Full Name, Date Made please. --TheGrimReaper 10:53, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Difficult to retrieve them? The Search function on their websites is for this. Also, you could look at the [[Wikipedia:Article Wizard] to help you. --TheGrimReaper 11:00, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

I hope u r not bored by my queries, thank u for ur help. Hamprey (talk) 11:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Soon I will appeal once I have reviewed the wikification and you have reviewed the number of non-full names that need to be corrected. Also, soon, if you need data from this page, you'll need to search the archives. --TheGrimReaper 11:20, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
about baseball stadium
Estadio Tomás Oroz Gaytán.
It is just that I do not know how to use the interface of wikipedia, I have copied some data from the Spanish version es.wikipedia.org. I mean, from an article with the same title which is in the Spanish wikipedia. I am 50 years old and do not intend to vandalize. I was a fan of the baseball team when I dwelled in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora. Now I live in Guadalajara and my mother tongue is Spanish. Also, I do not know if Erik09bot is a person or a web robot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.162.131.135 (talk) 09:07, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for attempting to expand Wikipedia, but I feel that the edit may have needed to be improved. Perhaps you could learn about the features by editing the Sandbox, ask around for editing advice, or attempt an edit on that article again. We look forward to your contributions in the future, and you may want to create an account as it has many benefits. --TheGrimReaper 09:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay, thanks a lot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.162.131.135 (talk) 09:22, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

- Please tell me what your problem is. --TheGrimReaper 09:30, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah yes, now I see what you mean. Your edit was reverted because it consisted of blanking a page, and blank pages are harmful because they confuse users and lower the integrity of Wikipedia. If you don't like an article, try to improve it or nominate it for speedy deletion. If it's already been nominated, just wait and it will be removed. --TheGrimReaper 17:09, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
well.

why revert
nice try but there was simply no need to revert my edit. master xehanort "that man is already a monster infused with darkness"
but notice how he merely states it but does not say who he means exactly? the camera angle hints its about apprentice vanitas, but it does not confirm it. plus no source, so i must remove it.174.18.138.120 (talk) 20:06, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- I do not recall reverting such an edit, so you must have made other changes to the edit. If not, you never inserted an edit summary which explained the removal of content; edits without an informative edit summary may be counted as vandalism. Thank you for readng; we look forward to your edits in the future. --TheGrimReaper 06:39, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Improper rollbacks on Megatherium
Hello TheGrimReaper_NS, you're reverting my edits and claim on your user page that you fight against vandalism. While this is a laudable goal, my edit is clearly not vandalism; I have stated in the discussion why I am making the edits before I made them. Please post here as to why you want the link to Richard Farina to remain in the article even though it directs to an article of a folk-singer who died in 1966, and not the paleontologist who made the claim in 1997. I realize it is HG but you need to justify why it is being used in this manner. Otherwise, please disable your script from locking Megatherium from further edits.70.127.69.16 (talk) 19:07, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- After a good bit of trial and error I realized that it automatically blocks edits without a summary. This seems a very confused way of filtering out vandalism. It is simple for a vandal to type meaningless spam into the edit summary (even alt-255 would do the trick) whereas it is inconvenient for people editing in good faith, since might include a more lengthy rationale for the edit on the discussion section which would make the edit summary unnecessary. I realize that doing both is good practice but a bit redundant.70.127.69.16 (talk) 19:16, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Huggle does not use such a method of reverting vandalism, but from my perspective, your edits looked like the deletion of good content. I do not recognize Richard Farina, and you could have inserted a helpful edit summary to explain why you removed the content. Nevertheless, now that I know that Richard Farina is not a paleontologist, I will cease to revert your edits and you may restore the article (just a hint though; you could have changed the link to point to the real paleontologist's biography) and we value your future contributions. Thank you for reading and for informing me of my mistakes; I never thought I could be so clumsy! --TheGrimReaper 19:25, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
