Coldstream Bridge

[edit]

Hi TheGrappler, nice article on Coldstream Bridge. I have uploaded a photo called Coldstream_Bridge.jpg which is actually the same photo which has just been zoomed in. Hope this is suitable for you. Nice to hear from you - Mick Knapton 21:50, 2005 Jun 18 (UTC)

Thanks for your enquiry about a photo for the Royal Border Bridge. Sorry for the delay in replying we've just been down to Weymouth in Dorset for a week. Yes I do have a picture of the bridge, it's not brilliant but I'll put it in the article to see what you think. Best Regards Mick Knapton 2005 July 2 09:10 (UTC)

Categorizing

[edit]

Hi, I saw you created category:Kaunas. Thanks, but I think you are over-categorizing. Like you are putting a county under a city! I believe it should be the opposite. Renata3 02:04, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I know what you are doing. I just dropped a note to make sure you understand that it is not the ideal way. Anyway, please continue and ignore my rambling :) Renata3 02:26, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, could you not categorize Lithuania's cities and towns? Right now it is a bit messy and I am working (slowly, but I am) to sort things out. like for example, a lot of articles in Town category are really about cities. Some towns are really villages. In short, the information for good category system is not yet ready. But thank you very much for your interest. Renata3 23:39, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I know. It needs attention. The list of cities is complete and accurate and can be relied on. Now I don't know just yet where to find a complete list of towns because Lithuania has official status for cities (miestas), towns (miestelis), and villages (kaimas) and at the moment in WP they are all mixed together because, as you have noticed, some cities have such a small population that instinctively you want to say "town". I created an infobox for Lithuanian cities/towns and I started to implement it. But I don't want to create just basic stubs... So it might take a while to create the articles. If you have anything specific to ask - don't hesitate. P.S. happy new year! Renata3 09:31, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Omani cricketers

[edit]

It's nice to see some Omani cricketers listed, given that country's recent surprise improvement - would it be possible to state what the bowling and batting records you list correspond to? Is it international (inter-associate) games or club cricket? Many thanks.

These Omani cricketers (which I'm sorry to say I haven't yet sourced) all come from Cricinfo. The information was from the fact that these, I believe, were the squad members who tripped out to the 2k5 ICC trophy. There are more Omani cricketers to add (all it would take from me would be a simple click through to the players list on cricinfo), but the bowling information merely comes from the ICC Trophy.

I could soon enough run through a list of innings on Statsguru, if these cricketers are available, when my mind's up to it, to have a look at their batting and bowling performances. Bobo192. 21:41, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oooh, one more thing: I think there's a problem with Greig Williamson and Grieg Williamson - I think you accidentally made two articles for this Scottish cricketer!

That's Greig Williamson, not Grieg Williamson. Feel free to speedy the latter. Bobo192. 21:53, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
