RahXephon

[edit]

I see on the discussion page that the "associated character page" needs to be improved. What sort of improvements do you want? I can help with them. Please let me know on my talk page. I guess you're trying to get the article up to A status? TheFilth 03:06, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the offer. I guess I've been a bit lazy about the characters article, and concentrating about the main series article. The characters article doesn't actually need much more info, since this is not plot summary service. The work I see left is
  • Re-write of character profiles for some characters. See the text about "in-universe" vs. "out-of-universe" for example. Ayato, Haruka and The RahXephon in particular. (We should both do this).

* Adding some characters, with short descriptions ** Watari ** Professor Rikudoh ** "Futagami" ** The rest of Alpha Squadron (share a section?) ** Gomi and Yomoda get to share a section

  • For each character, explaining differences of appearance and motivation in TV series, manga and movie
  • Screenshots of characters (I'll add those)

I've got one minor question concerning Quon. I've watched the series both subbed and dubbed, and I don't remember her ever saying "La-la." It was always "Ra-ra," and seemed to be her pet name for Ayato, along with "Ollin." Where does the "La-la" come from? Willbyr (talk | contribs) 18:31, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Got your message, thanks for responding. That's interesting about the ADV disks...what I own is an import set called the Perfect Collection that has both the series and the movie. I would've never questioned the translation until now...I'll have to sit down with my disks and the ADV disks and give those scenes a more careful study.
