Hi, i'm sorry that you believe more evidence is needed for the inclusion of one of the creators of the piece, Mary Lucier. I have now linked to an interview with Mary detailing the collaboration and will be inserting soon an extract from Melinda Barlow's 2000 book on Mary Lucier's work that also details the piece.
The first recording (1969) was a test / experiment in room acoustics & was not a 'piece'. It only became 'I am sitting in a room' when it was premiered as a collaborative multi media piece with Mary in 1970.
