The taskmgr.exe Virus
[edit]The taskmgr virus is a virus that lets the owner fully control the victims's computer. It is a virus that spreads into all of the core drives and runs on the start-up of a PC. It's core file is named "security" and is listed to be running in "msconfig" It's icon is two green arrows pointing downwards and shows up in your files. It will shut off your fire-walls and virus scanners as well as blocking the installation of new any new anti-virus software. It installs itself in the system files, rather than the user files. The only was to rid your computer of it is to install a new version of "windows" on your machine. You can back-up your user files (music, documents, videos and pictures) but it is not recommended backing up anything else.
