[edit]Hello, TheClerksWell. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Misleading "You have new messages" bar. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 02:29, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:06, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ahhh... I see that the signbot has struck again! --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 04:14, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Heh.

Orange bar
[edit]OK, you know Clerks, it's a funny joke that editors here automatically click on the orange link to see what is happening. Yes, ha ha, especially when you make the bar identical without even a typo in it, how original. Make your joke without logging people out. I realize you're not the one who restored the link, but let's get this onto a reasonable footing where people can experience your joke without revealing what city they live in. I'm working as an administrator here, if you want to refer this to a noticeboard for review of my actions. I'll do it for you (and present your case as best I can, and you can follow up there too). Franamax (talk) 04:21, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
How about leave me alone eh? Why does every edit seem to have to be peer reviewed fifteen times!?
Begun, the edit wars have.
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:23, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
And then, there was none. I can't help you now... you going down, TheClerksWell. Stop fanning the fire if you want to stay on Wikipedia, is that really really too much to ask of your testosterone-charged brain to stop fighting with other people again? Forget about it... I'm washing my hands off you. --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 04:32, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I'm just trying to have a joke on my page without it being misconstrued as harmful.
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:33, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I never wanted an argument.
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:34, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
And I'm ignoring you now. --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 04:35, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Why?
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:36, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Because its for your own good and you won't shut up. Goodbye~! --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 04:40, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Ok then...
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:41, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- My thread at the admin incidents' noticeboard is ready to go. Do you want to remove the problematic links or do you want me to commit the thread at WP:ANI? It's quite possible that other admins will think it's all just fine - or they may start looking through your other edits, it's always hard to tell which way things will go there. I'm not trying to scare you with vague threats or anything, I'm just suggesting this is a dispute that neither of us really need to have, if you could change the link to something that the vast majority of people would find funny. I don't personally think that logging a registered editor out is funny. It's your choice where we go now... Franamax (talk) 04:44, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Is Goatse good? I can change it to that.
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:46, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
We don't need this dispute, you are right. You can leave me alone now and stop trolling me, it's really obvious you know.
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:49, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Theres a chance an editor might accidentally make an edit while not logged in, it won't kill anyone.
TheClerksWell (talk) 04:51, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- OK, let's try it a little different then. I am going to change your links to Special:Random once again. You can change those links to point to something that expresses whatever joke you wish to convey by fooling good-faith editors - but if you restore a link to Special:UserLogout, I will block you from editing; and if you link to anything else which might cause discomfiture to a good-faith editor fooled by your wonderful little prank, than I will block you. You can appeal yourself at WP:ANI now or you can use the {{unblock}} template afterward. Is that a simpler choice? Franamax (talk) 05:00, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
You are gonna block me? Stop abusing your powers. Just because you don't like something, you can't block me.
TheClerksWell (talk) 05:05, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
How about let me use the log out joke, then you put the thread on ANI?
The unblock template is a joke, practically everyone who appeals is denied.
TheClerksWell (talk) 05:07, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
"Is that a simpler choice?" Your sarcasm is not appreciated here. >:(
WP:BEANS Don't come looking for trouble.
http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Sogakope is not a funny random page.
TheClerksWell (talk) 05:09, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Don't you hate it?
[edit]When someone abuses their powers like a Fascist to forcibly stop a silly joke because the perceive it to be unfunny?
TheClerksWell (talk) 05:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Pft. So are you done trolling now? I'm just itching to open up a WP:SPI case on you, but I'm at a total loss as to which sockmaster you are. How would you like to make my job easier and tell me? -FASTILYsock(TALK) 05:26, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Wow, you think I'm sockpuppeting? You seem to like baseless accusations. Fine, open the stupid investigation, I don't care. Waste your time. :) TheClerksWell (talk) 05:40, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hah wow. Are you seriously going to make me log in to block you ? I really would rather not, but I'm feeling the urge to do just that. -FASTILYsock(TALK) 05:58, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Why did you think I sockpuppeted. It seems like an out of the blue accusation. And no "Hah wow." This is SERIOUS Farking Business.
- Your funeral. -FASTILYsock(TALK) 06:01, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
What about my funeral? TheClerksWell (talk) 01:28, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- Just this, from Yogi Berra: "You should go to other people's funerals; otherwise, they won't go to yours." ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

- The boy is like a loose cannon and since its Easter Sunday today... hallelujah~! Thank you. --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 09:54, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Locked for three months!? This is excessive.
TheClerksWell (talk) 05:42, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
You supported me Dave, only to double cross me. Is this typical of the Wikipedia community?
Please stop
[edit]Please stop changing other editor's User pages, as you've done here [1]. Dayewalker (talk) 05:57, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
I fixed punctuation.
TheClerksWell (talk) 05:58, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- Theresa's user page does say "Feel free to edit my user page" and encourages other people to edit it. That's not an excuse for the other stuff of course. 66.127.52.47 (talk) 08:13, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]This it not acceptable either. If you add the link back, or edit other editors' userpages inappropriately again, I will block you. ÷seresin 06:01, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. FASTILY (TALK) 06:03, 5 April 2010 (UTC)- Since you can't edit your own talk page, I've created a review thread here.--Chaser (talk) 06:14, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've enabled talk page access in case you want to ask for a block review. Use {{unblock|your reason here}}. You'd be wise not to replace the message bar in any form. That joke has worn thin.--Chaser (talk) 06:39, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Sorry for the goatse thing. I admit that was uncalled for.
TheClerksWell (talk) 00:06, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|Summary:(I originally came on Wikipedia to edit and improve articles, which was my intent for creating an account. Then I had the prank and got in trouble because of my behavior and the prank itself. Now I apologize and realize my actions were wrong. I got blocked for my immature actions.) I have read the Wikipedia rules and especially the Wiki Etiquette part and have realized my name calling, immature prank, and troll like actions were inappropriate and went against some of the 5 pillars of Wikipedia. If I am unblocked I will follow the instructions of Admins with no rudeness or argument. I will become a positive and helpful part of the Wikipedia community. I will never pull a new message prank again. I have made some constructive edits and have created 2 real articles Pop Island Robot Rescue, and if you dig through [contributions], you'll find I did edit and improve some articles. If I am unblocked I will focus on improving video game related articles. I am on here to improve Wikipedia, and am no longer on here to act like a troll, harass, and be a jerk. I now realize Wikipedia is not for humor or pranks, but to improve knowledge of many subjects. I am truly sorry for my downright childish, inapropriate, and boorish behavior, edits, and actions. If I misbehave again, feel free to block me for a year. I ask for one last chance.TheClerksWell (talk) 00:00, 6 April 2010 (UTC)}}
- Be warned, though—this unblock is based very heavily on extension of good faith. Demonstrating that the good faith was unwarranted by further disruption will result in a quick re-block. If you have questions you can ask me or another admin, but if you resume problematic behavior I will block you. ÷seresin 03:48, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
