Yo, im new 2 wiki, but already 1 of my articles is up 4 deletion, its not the best page in the world but i'd really luv 2 keep it,and i noticed tht u were really into hip hop (ur name kinda gave it away) and i was wonderin' if u wud help 2 try 2 save this article.keep it real - Real Compton G20:18, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize it was you editing. I thought it was User:G-Unittt or some other vandal. The reason I am removing all the information from the G-Unit Records article is because one, there is no need for so much information to show all the members of the Cashville and 150 Ent. imprints, you don't see it being used at Interscope, Shady Records, UMG, etc. A quick mention is good enough for all those artists. --- Realest4Life20:10, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
I am not kidding, especially since I am a bit tired today, but for some reason I am still editing. Check the second guy's talk page and see that I already warned him a few times. --- Realest4Life20:17, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
I know, but I just happened to remember that guy since he had "G-Unit" in his name, I warned him twice, and he was editing an article related to G-Unit. Also, as I said, I am tired and didn't really pay much attention to whose edits I was reverting. --- Realest4Life20:24, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
I see you reverted even though my edits were for clean-up purposes. Do as you wish, I'm too tired to argue about this right now. This takes me back to when I used to try and maintain a good standard for the G-Unit and G-Unit Records articles... only to end up quitting Wikipedia temporarily because of all the stress involved, so I will not be editing those two article again, so don't worry about me removing any information from those articles. You can have it your way. --- Realest4Life20:46, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Hey, no worries. It kind've 'shocked' me to see those kinds of words on wikipedia. But hey, nevermind, it happens. It just serves as an example of how diverse wikipedia is, and how awesome it is to see people editing from all walks of life. Take care. ScarianTalk12:57, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:G-Unit_Members.jpg
Thank you for uploading G-Unit_Members.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
I have a question, would it be OK if I joined but didn't really edit much other than She Wants It, Curtis (50 Cent album), Before I Self Destruct, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (soundtrack), I Get Money, Come & Go, Follow My Lead, and Can't Leave 'Em Alone? I am editing all of these articles right now, formatting, reverting vandalism, etc., but I don't want to get into articles like G-Unit Records because I promised you I would stay away from that mess. If yes, then I will consider putting my name up there and a comment. However, be aware that Consequence (rapper) is not a member of G-Unit Records. Sha Money XL's company is a "management" company, which means it manages the careers of artists, I could sign with them so they would manage my career, understand? Also, some of these guys we really need to discuss if they belong in the G-Unit category. I understand that the Outlawz are signed to Ca$hville, however, we must ask ourselves this: is any artist that is associated with Young Buck (e.g.) associated with the rest of G-Unit also? I think that is more of a Young Buck associate, you understand where I'm going with this holmes?
By the way, what really confuses me is how major labels like Interscope Records don't have WikiProjects and this record label, although major, is minor compared to those labels. However, I do understand that hip hop record label imprints are somewhat special since they have all these record label compilation albums (e.g., The Re-Up). Again, if it is OK with you, I will put my name there and try and contribute in a way that will make the both of us happy, I try to stay away from articles that you think are fine the way they are, and you just do your thing with those articles. Again, if you agree, please tell me. Thank you. --- Realest4Life15:18, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Re: 50 Cent
Well this is currently a GA candidate. When that info was added, there was immediately some protest on the talk page about its NPOV issues. We should wait until this passes a GA first, and then we can sort this out. This definitely isn't going to pass if they see that it's not "stable". Spellcast20:09, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi, what was the reason behind your edit here? Re-arranging the whole layout of the article isn't a minor edit. Minor edits are superficial things that could never be the subject of a dispute. Thanks. Spellcast01:24, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Re: G-Unit
I've brought up some issues on the Talk:G-Unit#Cleanup page. I think the 'Controversy' section should be reduced as much as possible. They don't have to be removed, but the wording can defintely be reduced. There needs to be more info about their music, like critical reviews and stuff. I'll work on the article in the future, but those are just a few suggestions. Spellcast12:39, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm glad you removed it from the 50 Cent page because I would've done the same. Media Take Out seems to be a gossip site, although it does claim the info is from Game's camp. Spellcast12:47, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
