On your adminship. I see you're hard at it already. --Rodhullandemu (talk - contribs) 00:39, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi, the article North India did not suffer edit warring...
I was only reverting the addition of spam links and I don't think that comes under 3RR also...
Then why was it fully protected?
User:Himhifi was notoriously adding spam links to the article which I removed...
I reported him to admins.. He should be blocked instead of fully protecting the article...
No one else was involved in the revert issues and the content that was changed were only
external links.
Please unprotect that article... that article is in a very bad shape (full of POV statements) now...

Hey, are you sure about your deletion of Great_Irish_Famine? Check the history. Cheers! henrik•talk 22:25, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and undeleted the page now, since you seemed to have stepped away from your computer. It was marked as a copyvio and csd by User:217.233.236.236 which seems to be up to no good. henrik•talk 22:39, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Mistakes can happen :) It seems out anonymous friend was inserting CorenSearchBot copyvio notices and {{db-copyvio}} tags on several articles. User is now blocked for 48 hours, but it might be a good idea to keep an eye out for this. henrik•talk 22:59, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Hello. My post for Record Bar was recently deleted. It is a chronological list of events in the life of a company that is no longer in business in the Southeast US. (It was bought by Blockbuster Music in the early 90s.) It was a fairly significant music retailer, and there are a number of former employees across the nation who have mentioned looking for a Wikipedia entry, but nothing being available. Given the declining number of music retailers in the country, I think having entries for not only Record Bar, but Tower, etc. would be appropriate. Thanks for your consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Plmelton (talk • contribs)
- Yes, please leave me a copy of the article to work on. Thanks again for the help.--Plmelton 23:10, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just a note of thanks for your assistance. I'll make some additions and changes-thanks again for the help. --Plmelton 23:27, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've made some revisions to my original entry, after consulting the guidelines and Manual of Style. Are there any other changes I need to make in order to get the entry approved? Thanks.--Plmelton 02:57, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- I can't seem to locate instructions for copying/re-entering something that has been deleted. Could you direct me to where I can find out how? Thanks.--Plmelton 11:44, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please ignore my previous comment. That's what I get for trying to do something immediately after I wake up. Thanks again for your help.--Plmelton 12:12, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
As far as I know, Tapes / albums / books etc are not eligible for speedy deletion for notability reasons. (There are discussions of extent the current WP:CSD#A7 but it would still just apply to material from artists that fall themselves under WP:CSD#A7. Suggested approaches for editors are merging or prodding. Best regards --Tikiwont 09:12, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
So you deleted my Dark Room (band) article, right. I don't want to start any trouble or anything but srsly why did you get rid of it, mans. Spent all afternoon writing that biography!

Hello, a page I edited called Mob4hire was deleted. I was hoping to gain some clarification on the decision. The story leading up to this business is a noteworthy event to members in the Cambrian House community. A lot of people worked very hard discussing this business while it was still an idea. It won a weekly contest and then went on through four weeks of competition. The formation of this business is noteworthy because was formed through a community effort (like a group art project or even like the success of wikipedia itself)
If you can reconsider the deletion choice, I would appreciate it. If the deletion still stands, I would appreciate some advice to increase the note worthiness of my article.

- Thank you for taking the time to respond to my questions. I really appreciate your responsiveness. I would like to take you up on your offer and get a copy of the article to work on in my user space.Ensign red shirt 18:36, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I have restored the Sarah McCarthy-Fry article which you speedy deleted as an attack page. I have left the versions of the page that were nonsense deleted which were why it was tagged as an attack page. It looks like they were just vandalism on the page Davewild 19:58, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Hey, saw you reverted my edit.
WP:Albums mentions it here WP:Albums#Professional reviews:
"Include no more than ten reviews. When choosing which reviews to include, consider the notability of the review source and keeping a neutral point of view. For older albums, try to include not just contemporary but also some more recent reviews."
I guess the reasoning is that more than 10 reviews is, well, messy. I'm gonna revert it and I'm hoping you won't change it, thanks.–FunkyVoltron talk 21:19, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Hey, haven't really talked in a while, I noticed you became an admin, so I'd like to say congrats. So, "congrats"! Yo, I did wanna ask you for a favor though. I know you're really into G-Unit, (and honestly, I'm not sure how into Game you are), but there's been some stuff going on with the Black Wall Street Records page. If you could do me the favor of looking through the history and tell me which of the revisions is right? Thanks man. JpGrB 20:34, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Re: message
Thanks, and congratulations to you too; weren't you in the same batch of RfAs as me? Anyway, my sig is done by using {{subst:user:east718/s}}
and signing with three tildes instead of four. Hope that helps, east.718 at 19:59, 11/12/2007
I see you just deleted this article under csd g12. I was looking at it at the time. It looks as if you failed to consider the history of the article; the version at the time you looked at it was a copyright violation, but there are earlier versions which are not, although they may not be ideal articles. I suggest that the version from March 2007 might be worth restoring to.-gadfium 20:59, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- I hope you also check "What links here" for articles you delete; in this case, the significant number of links was a further indication that a real article was lurking behind the copyvio.-gadfium 21:01, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, there have been previous copyvios. The most recent one seems to have been added in August 2007, and the revision before that was an anon's test. However, the version as of March 2007 does not appear to be a copyright violation although it is mostly just a listing of the company's products. This version appears to have grown organically from a rather spammy version created after the July 2005 deletion.-gadfium 22:07, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
