Rollback
[edit]I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Thanks
[edit]Thanks for the reverts on my user page. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:13, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Founder
[edit]I notice at User:Jimbo Wales that you had what appear to be doubts, and you restored it back to "cofounded". It doesn't matter because it will be restored to "founded" within a short while, but in case you are not aware, the issue is a very old and extremely tired battle. There are quite a few people who feel affronted that Jimbo receives a lot of attention for his role in Wikipedia, and they take every opportunity to goad him. The established position is that Jimbo can describe himself as whatever he likes on his talk page, and "founded" is his word. It would be a bit awkward if everyone had to have a reliable source for every statement on their user page. This is just FYI; no need to take any action. Johnuniq (talk) 08:23, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the informing me about this. I was a bit confused about that since it is clearly stated on the article that he was the co-founder. Of course, user pages are meant to be written by the user so it is up to the user to decide what they want on the page as long as it is not against Wikipedia's policies. re: DYK nomination
[edit]Hi, sorry I never got back to that. The article at the moment says the company plans to soon start a "new power plant at its Tacoma tideflats mill". But according to the source they planned to start producing power last month. Do you know what the status is on this? If not, that's fine, but could you please add the date provided in the source to the article, rather than saying "soon". Cheers - Kingpin13 (talk) 05:02, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
DYK for Simpson Investment Company

[edit]Many, many thanks for the assist on my talk page. :) People are no good sometimes. Doesn't apply to you, believe me. Gratefully, PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:42, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Thanks a lot
[edit]Thanks a lot for reverting my userpage, and getting that bugger banned. Cheers.. :D --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 08:16, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Tgv8925, Rsrikanth05 has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling at someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Go on, smile! Cheers, and happy editing!

- One more thing, how did you get that queer yet cool looking red box in your warning? Did you use a tool for that? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 08:57, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Sorry for cutting in and leaving a warning on that IP's talk page; I thought I had reverted the vandalism. I guess you reported them? Thanks, Drmies (talk) 04:24, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Grab some glory, and a barnstar
[edit]Hi, I'd like to invite you to participate in the Guild of Copy Editors July 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive. In May, about 30 editors helped remove the {{copyedit}} tag from 1175 articles. The backlog is still over 7500 articles, and extends back to the beginning of 2008! We really need your help to reduce it. Copyediting just a couple articles can qualify you for a barnstar. Serious copyeditors can win prestigious and exclusive rewards. See the event page for more information. And thanks for your consideration. ɳorɑfʈ Talk! 15:23, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
