Article Evaluation
[edit]Article title: Inorganic Chemistry
The article has a neutral viewpoint that provided multiple viewpoints towards this subject, with relevant content in it. However, for some sections such as the industrial inorganic chemistry part, it could have gave a little more description and explanation of why inorganic chemistry an important part, instead of listing out names of several compounds with links for readers to scroll through. Also, the "key concept" section could be condensed into an abstract and put at the front of the article. The entire article provides a general overview of its topic, so it could be more specific, and contain more updated information from recent discoveries or works. Moreover, it doesn't have many cited sources, which could make readers question its reliability. This, again, could be improved by revising with updated information in recent work. Other than that, the article is nice and clear and provides numerous clear figures throughout to show the different shapes of these categories of molecules, which was very helpful. Its multiple links in the content also helped understanding pieces and bits of the broad topic. A question I have on this article is that what other types of conflict other than structural ones are there between theoretical and observational inorganic chemistry?
