Your recent review
Just a note (and thanks for the review): I don't seem to be getting either a bot update about its upgrade or seeing a GA icon on the page itself. Is there anything wrong? Oh, and your review still says there are a few things I need to address. --ProtoDrake (talk) 08:59, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- Got it. And since it's passed, I added the icon myself. Glad you helped me make the extra step up. That article has been something nagging at me for years. --ProtoDrake (talk) 16:07, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Sonic characters
I know you put a lot of effort into those character pages, and it always hurts to see diligent work cast into the shadows. Have you considered moving your contributions on those topics to another wiki, like Wikia or Sega-16 or something? czar ♔ 17:09, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Sega 32X FAC
Hey, Tezero. I appreciate your support of the article. If I may, however, I'd like to briefly show you WP:VOTE. FACs are meant to be consensus based and not simply a vote, so if you can elaborate on your support, that would be very helpful and would be much better for the article's chances to pass its candidacy. Thank you, Red Phoenix let's talk...check out the Sega task force 14:06, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
Hey Tezero. When you have a chance can you look at some of my responses at Anachronox's GAN? Would like to get some feedback from this. GamerPro64 15:51, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- I didn't mean the Reception section. The thing automatically loaded that onto the bar. I meant the one about the Special Hosts. GamerPro64 17:05, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- So I took a bunch of stuff out of the Reception section that would didn't look to be totally losses without them. What's your take on the section as it stands right now? GamerPro64 00:57, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- I"m kind of confused about your second comment. I mean first you tell me to go to the Video Games WikiProject talk page and ask to see what to remove and then hours later you say "Not yet". I don't get what you mean. GamerPro64 05:16, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

- Yeah I'll look more into your revision but at first glance it looks like a massive improvement. Thanks for your help. Kinda feels unconventional to see a reviewer help out on an article like this when you think about. GamerPro64 00:07, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Article size
Regarding this edit summary, I suggest you read Wikipedia:Article size yourself, specifically the sections titled "Measuring "readable prose" size" and "Size guideline". File size is not the same as readable prose. While The Big Bang Theory occupies 117kB of file space, there are only 42kB (7,261 words) of readable prose in the article. Adding the listified "Main cast" section, which is technically not readable prose, brings the total to 52kB (9,054 words) which barely places the article into the "May need to be divided" section of WP:SIZERULE. Rather than simply drive-by tagging the article, perhaps you would care to offer suggestions on the article's talk page as to how you think the article size can be reduced, or do so yourself. Unless you do, there's simply no point tagging the article. --AussieLegend (✉) 04:20, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Big The Cat
This is what your source says:
- GamersGlobal: About the Dreamcast game Sonic Adventure is holding a rumor that Big the Cat was created only because of the fishing peripherals for the console...
- Takashi Iizuka: So far I did not know this rumor! There's nothing to it. At this time the fishing controller did not even exist yet.
It doesn't explicitly state that Big's stages could be controlled with the peripheral.TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 23:30, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
- I don't agree with your interpretation. Iizuka says "we had programmed a fishing rod" into the game before the fishing peripheral "even exist[ed]"; I take that to mean they had already begun work on the fishing stages, but had yet to decide who the player was controlling. GG's question does imply that Big's stages might have had optional support for the peripheral, but I still would like to see more explicit confirmation.TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 00:14, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

I did not obtain consensus; the general merger of the articles recently was done on WP:BRD. That said, I do not feel that Suicune warrants an article, as it - like you said - was not independent from the other dogs generally. Further, the number of sources used was low in general. With respect to the quality, the MTV Multiplayer source is not only situational, but none of the judges chose them as their favourite dogs. Really, the only reception Suicune has on the page that has any substance is from GamesRadar and IGN, and even then, that's only three sources that give it reception. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 07:49, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- However, with the pace that I'm finding sources, Suicune may very well find itself with enough sources to justify it having an article again. I'm simply doing a cleanup to remove the Pokémon that I think came into being for all the wrong reasons. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 01:12, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Tezero. Really, I can say Sonic is part of my life (probably, Sonic is part of many people's life)... However, as I don't have much content to increase in these articles, I think I can keep an eye on they at least, hoping someone like you to do a great job. And, you're doing a good one! (Keep on it)... I like it (both Sonic and your work on it ;)). I think I'll don't bring up a Sonic-related article to GA, but, yeah, I would love to help in any way. Any suggestion? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 05:56, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- It'll be very difficult to me since I've only played Sonic "classic" games... then, I don't know the plot of more recently games to summarize it... I can only take a look in this section to try to summarize what you're writing if it's ok to you...
- Is possible there is no one more interested in Sonic rather than you and Red Phoenix? (I mean, Sonic is very popular, etc). Don't think that I don't want to help, but I haven't much to offer and I'm very disorganized on what I work on... I like Sonic, but it's not a priority to me... I'm sorry I can't help but I would suggest to you to contact the users who promoted Sonic games to GA. I think it isn't difficult to find them, and surely they will be more useful than me. Good luck Gabriel Yuji (talk) 19:28, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Characters in Smash
I'm happy to report that from looking at just the reviews, I've come up with a lot of reception resources. Making the actual article, however, will be a huge undertaking, so I'm not rushing into the creation process just yet (especially since I'm working right now on an also-arduous task of cutting down Pokécruft on the species lists). - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 01:40, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
- I am confused on this subject. Why would you make a list of characters which already have split articles or content located elsewhere? Any reception on their part could go in their individual articles. Any reception on a more general sense could go on the series page, or the specific game it may refer to. Could you give an example of what this page would look like? Do you plan to go into detail about their fighting style/moves? Blake (Talk·Edits) 17:23, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry Tezero, I was pretty much asking Hippie this question. The format of talking on user pages confuses me. Wikipedia either needs some form of a "mention alert" system(which I think it does actually?), and discussions stay on the page they originated, or some other system of usertalk pages. Having "Re:" sections all over the place just seems odd to me. I would rather see the whole conversation in one place! :) Blake (Talk·Edits) 19:59, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

Testing the waters on Blood Knights
I've been doing articles on XBLA games for several years now, and I've been getting better it over time. I've recently brought Blood Knights up to GA level, and it's the first article I've done that I feel might been a viable candidate for Featured Article. Before I move forward with that, however, I wanted to ask you and a few other people that are involved in video game FACs what their thoughts are on the matter. In short, does the article have a realistic chance of going through FAC successfully? How much work would it take to be at that level? Your thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Sven Manguard Wha? 22:07, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
- @Sven Manguard:, I think it could get through FAC without that much work. Among my suggestions, since this is FA level, not GA:
- Just scrap the citations in Plot. If it were up to me it'd be preferable to cite a Let's Play rather than nothing, but as it stands, removing them altogether is perfectly acceptable and lessens the chance of someone opposing on source reliability.
- About that, you really do not want an oppose vote. Unless it's for a very specific factor that you clearly demonstrate you've fixed, you're basically finished with one oppose.
- Reception might be better suited for a greater length. Might. It depends on how in-depth the reviews are.
- Either I didn't notice these at GAN or they weren't there, but the following sources may not be reliable: Blue's News, Daily Dead, Co-Optimus, and PlayStationLifeStyle. Granted, it's not a game that's been widely covered, so you may receive more lenient attitudes toward source reliability as a result, but you should still keep an eye out for replacements listed at WP:VG/RS.
- The prose is solid for the most part, although I'd recommend rephrasing the "level"-heavy second sentence of Gameplay, as well as the sentence containing "set piece battles", as I've never heard of the term, it's not linked, and it never appears in the article again.
- Consider requesting a copyedit. This makes a prose-based "oppose" vote, which is not a specific complaint like what I mentioned earlier, less likely. On the other hand, the Guild of Copy Editors can take a very long time to get to it. Tezero (talk) 22:35, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

DYK for Wisp (Sonic)
On 2 April 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Wisp (Sonic), which you recently created or substantially expanded.
