From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is felt that the article you created at Tom Alibrandi is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:Text97, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information.

Please read WP:AUTO. The recommendation is always: wait until someone else writes a bio about you. -- RHaworth 08:59, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article User:Text97, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at [[Talk:User:Text97]]. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. MfD Nomination

[edit]

I've nominated your user page for deletion under the Miscellany for deletion process, since you have made few or no edits outside of your user page since you created it. User pages are intended for the use of active Wikipedia editors to aid them in their work. Your page seems intended to use Wikipedia as a free webhost or promotional service, which Wikipedia is not.

We appreciate editor contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that your user page belongs here. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Text97. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of the page during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Miscellany for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. --Calton | Talk 07:26, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to The Great Khali. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 02:20, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Gamaliel (talk) 18:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to RAS syndrome. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. There is a banner which is clearly visible when editing which says that further examples should not be added without prior discussion. If your addition had been properly referenced I would have defended it in favour of one of the remaining unsourced entries. ClickRick (talk) 17:53, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
