Merger Proposal Follow Up
Following up on my message regarding the proposed merger of George Scelle and Georges Scelle. I went ahead and merged the two articles in question. --TommyBoy 07:27, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Deletion tags
You are doing a fine job at identifying potentioal speedy candidates. You could further help by placing the appropiate warning tag in the authors talkpage, which will help identify re-creations. Agathoclea 19:51, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Jumpgate
Hiya Tex, did you play Jumpgate by any chance? IntinnTalk! 15:54, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, never tried it. Looks a bit like Eve Online, which I'm actually trying out with the 14 day trial at the moment. - TexMurphy 15:58, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Goodluck with that! Tried Eve a few years ago but it couldn't quite grab me ;) Anyway, have fun! IntinnTalk! 15:59, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Age category
Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:
- Using an age group category, such as Category:Wikipedians in their 30s
- Using a decade category, such as Category:Wikipedians born in the 1970s.
If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 12:34, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the pointers. I hope the new page meets the criteria for companies. Please let me know if I should change anything else. I was reading up on travel companies for an essay and noticed Travel Republic had displaced Expedia and skyscanner in Travel Weekly magazines agent rankings. Seemed like a valid reason for an entry. Now I want to know if I should buy stock before they follow Lastminute's example. ;-) Seomancer 06:49, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Oops
I removed your AIV report regarding Angela51194 since the account only had one visible contrib at the time, but I saw that Edgar181 later blocked them all the same. I hadn't looked at his/her talk page, previously, and missed the whole series of warnings about nonsense pages. My mistake. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:33, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Scampi diSanti - is this reduced article more acceptable?
Scampi diSanti are smoked black tiger prawns aimed at a comparable market to that of caviar, oysters and champagne.
The smoking process for black tiger prawns was developed over many years by Gourmet Generation GmbH of Bremerhaven. Kuhlmann GmbH in Offenbach has the exclusive right to sell the smoked prawns.
Scampi diSanti prawns are smoked without their head and tail. Therefore, the net weight of the product corresponds to the total amount consumed.
Further characteristics of Scampi diSanti are a crunchy texture and an individual smoky taste. The smoking process aims to retain all the healthy vitamins and minerals, which are normally lost during boiling, frying or grilling.
Restaurants, such as Sansibar on the island of Sylt, and well known chefs are developing official serving suggestions for Scampi diSanti. They are being published on the Scampi diSanti website and elsewhere. Thkbc 12:20, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

- Yeah, I reverted his vandalism here, after I speedied the nonsense article he created about Tex. It's a pity some people can't think of anything better to do with their time, yes? Cheers! ---Charles 23:50, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Gray matters movie poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gray matters movie poster.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:31, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for visiting the Underworld
clicketyclick has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling at someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy editing!
I just wanted to thank you for patrolling new pages like mine and slapping on a much needed future game tag (rather than something like a speedy deletion tag!) I appreciate that you took time to look over my newly hobbled together article, so thanks! clicketyclickyaketyyak 19:28, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use Image:Alexandra Rapaport.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Alexandra Rapaport.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. βcommand 22:46, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
