Terese, I saw your message at User talk:Ser Amantio di Nicolao and thought I'd save him the effort by replying myself.
He removed Category:Ghanaian politicians because it's an extra category. The article is already in Category:Cabinet Ministers of Ghana, which is included in "Ghanaian politicians". If you go to "Ghanaian politicians" and click the links to subcategories, you'll see that one subcategory is "Political office-holders in Ghana", one of that one's subcategories is "Government ministers of Ghana", and one of that one's subcategories is "Cabinet Ministers of Ghana". All cabinet ministers are politicians, so it makes sense for cabinet ministers to be underneath politicians.
The best explanation I've seen of this issue can be found at Commons:COM:OCAT. Basically, if we put an article in a child category like "Cabinet Ministers" and a parent category like "politicians", we're clogging up the upper-level category without a real benefit. If it would make sense to include articles in parent and child categories, we might as well put them in lots of other categories higher-up. You can imagine how Category:Ghanaian people would quickly become so full that it wouldn't be very usable. And Category:Ghana would have even more articles, ranging from Ambrose Dery to List of rulers of the Northern state of Gonja, from Jenini to Revenue stamps of the Gold Coast, and from Meridian Airways to Kpekpele. Putting articles only in child categories, therefore, is a simple way to avoid over-filling categories.

Disambiguation link notification for September 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Theodosia Okoh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Britain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, TereseB. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
James Varrick Armaah moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, James Varrick Armaah, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Britishfinance (talk) 13:33, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
Britishfinance my article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and fair enough i should have added a stub template which i think you should have done not move it to draft. I am an experienced editor and i do not think i need my articles to be reviewed.TereseB
