Spam

[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in List of search engines. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. License tagging for Image:UseAPI-logo-tail.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:UseAPI-logo-tail.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:10, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. EdJohnston 00:10, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So far, only spam

[edit]

If you want to become a valued contributor to Wikipedia, you won't blank your Talk page to hide warnings, and you won't keep on adding spam links to articles after you've been warned! See WP:SPAM.

From your actions, it seems you are somewhat familiar with how we do things here. If you are, you'd be aware we don't like the encyclopedia to be used for advertising or promotion. It is not clear that the links you are adding have any benefit except to the business. You should be willing to persuade other editors that they have value before adding them all over the place. Want to close my account

[edit]

Where do I keep adding spam links? Everything is I tried to add a page with my own work. I made a mistake to add this page too early without reading the requirements. Thus, I blanked out everything (talked page & proposed page) in my account so that I close this account and say good bye to Wiki!

You can't every close your accout, but we can delete your talk page if you wish. Just drop me a note on my talk page and I'll do it for you. Cbrown1023 03:36, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
nvm, I've blocked you. So now no one can access your account if you lose your password and you can't edit. Thanks, Cbrown1023 03:39, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

talk page deletion request

[edit]

Sorry, I was unable to access to your talk page. So I use this page to request you to delete my talk page and the image page at http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Image:Searchonline.gif . One of reasons you labeled this incidence is unfair. I did not have any intention of vandalizing the Wiki.

Good luck with your project.

I've deleted the image since it is not used on any articles and you were the contributor. However, I have not deleted your talk page so that other users have a reference point for your past contributions if you ever have your account reactivated. Cbrown1023 20:44, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
