In the description part, you are using the verb "to be" in some sentences, but not in others. You may want to homogenize this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicolas Anger (talkcontribs) 20:14, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Text formatting: - Double spaces to remove (Lines 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, 28, 40, 57) - Change Gaonderma for Ganoderma, line 7 - Italicize all Latin names in the references paragraph

You've done a great job with this page! Huge improvement over what existed before. I like that you added an additional heading (Molecular Taxonomy) on the main page - what's in your sandbox is A LOT of text without an internal heading, and I like that you separated Traditional from Molecular taxonomy.

One small edit: In the very first line up at the top, you say common and then very commonly a couple words later - a bit redundant, I'd remove one of the instances of "common".

A bigger edit: Most of the information you have under Traditional Taxonomy actually applies to the entire genus Ganoderma, not just this species. I think you should move that content to the genus page, since it is really more appropriate there than it is here. If this is the page for one particular species, it should include only information about that particular species; info relevant to the whole genus should go on the genus page. Ditto for Molecular Taxonomy - I think the first paragraph should go to the genus page, but the second paragraph can probably stay on this page, perhaps with some of the sentences duplicated or rephrased on the genus page, since they relate both to this species but also to lineages in the genus as a whole. Same also applies to Description and Uses - move the more general statements to the genus page and make sure you only include species-specific information on this page.

Still some work to do, but it's really just moving things around that you've already written. Nice job!
