Speedy deletion nomination of Caezar

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Caezar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I did some updates on Crushed Ice (mix tape), The Magnificent 757's (mix tape), and Welcome to Texaco City (mix tape). Here're a few things to note for future editing, and for work on those articles. First, you put direct links to other artists (like this 2. We Made It (feat. Stevie J & Marquis) 2:55) in the Crushed Ice article. You can't put links like that in the text of the article, the only links that can go in the text are to other Wikipedia articles. Links like that have to go in an "external links" section at the bottom of the page. Second, when you title a page don't include things like "as so and so." Just use the tape/album's name, that kind of detail goes in the lead. I fixed the track listing on Welcome since it was done all in header code. I corrected all the titles, and added names he used & the artists featured in Lead sections I created. You can also link the guest artists on the various tracks to their articles. All three of the articles need references added, need to have categories added, and need more details/info added to the lead (things like company released by & such). I got them in decent shape, now you can finish them up. If you need help, give me a shout at my talk page or visit the Teahouse. JamesG5 (talk) 06:29, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I rescued Caezar (mix tape) from the Speedy deletion placed on it & made similar fixes to what I describe above, I also updated all the links on Benzino's page. JamesG5 (talk) 06:40, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
