Dear Tee Meng,

Do you have a larger version of the Birds Nest Picture? I would like to use it for one of our External Magazines.

please get back to me.

Please make sure that you include a descriptive edit summary with any edit, even one that you deem to be minor, to assist other editors and admins in checking diffs. Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GZTVtower Oct07.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Image-GZTVtower Oct07.jpg. The copy called Image:Image-GZTVtower Oct07.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 16:01, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Dragonair logo.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dragonair logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:20, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for Image:2002_FIFA_World_Cup_logo.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2002_FIFA_World_Cup_logo.gif. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. OsamaK (talk) 19:03, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I have tagged Image:2010_FIFA_World_Cup_logo.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. Speedy deletion of The Curve (shopping mall)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Curve (shopping mall) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. WebHamster 09:41, 13 January 2008 (UTC) [reply]

The CSD request has been made for the shopping mall because it lacks notability. I have no doubt that it exists but that is not a reason for inclusion in Wikipedia. --WebHamster 09:53, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You shoudn't put a deletion about it because it is a very notable shopping mall in Malaysia. - Tee Meng 9:55, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

January 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with The Curve (shopping mall). If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. WebHamster 09:47, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with The Curve (shopping mall). Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. WebHamster 09:55, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with The Curve (shopping mall). If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You cannot "decline" a speedy on an article you have created yourself. That will be decided by an administrator. Now you have used the hangon template the article will not be deleted until it has been assessed by an admin. WebHamster 10:12, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've noted your copy and paste comment on my talk page. You are not an admin, the editor you copied the comments from is. --WebHamster 10:15, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please respect copyrights

[edit]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Image:Beijing National Stadium.jpg. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. It is also extremely not cool to claim others' work as your own. howcheng {chat} 18:30, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lethal Angels requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. serioushat 11:24, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
