Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Friedrich von Mellenthin  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:52, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Friedrich von Mellenthin with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 06:02, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please heed the advice of the above editors. There may be some merits to your edit, but you'll need to explain them more fully on the talk page of the article (Talk:Friedrich von Mellenthin). Through discussion, hopefully consensus can be reached that either the book reviews lack academic merit and should be removed, or that they are valid criticism from recognized sources and should remain. However, there needs to be discussion to reach that point, not a ping-pong game of removing and re-adding material. As the editor who initiated the changes, you need to also be the one to initiate the discussion. —C.Fred (talk) 14:02, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
