January 2017

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Rotunda of Xewkija. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. If stating the name of a guide book about a church is advertising, and particularly when all proceeds from such sale is going towards the maintenance of the church itself, then I do not know what facts are. This book is published and available for to help the general public to understand how such a great monument was built in just a short time span of twenty years. The book is a fact and not any sort of advertising. It is simply the only guide book available in English for this church. Tourists may greatly benefit by reading it to and to avail themselves of all the detailed information found in it.

Ted mizzi, I'm sort of assuming that you have some connection to the Ted M. Mizzi who wrote the guide-book. If so, it's not acceptable for you to attempt to publicise it here, for two reasons:

Wikipedia is not an advertising platform; it doesn't tolerate promotion or advocacy of any kind
You have what we call a conflict of interest; you should not be editing on topics that you have a personal or professional connection to

Also, please note that you can't just copy the publicity blurb for the book into Wikipedia, even if you wrote it yourself (which we can't know for sure); that is copyright violation. Please take the time to learn a bit about what Wikipedia is and what it is not. I'll leave you an invitation below, which I hope you will accept.
