I think your section looks good. If I were you, I would consider linking the medications you discuss to their respective wiki pages. Lrobin42 (talk) 17:27, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Lakin[reply]

Your section is really informational and I think the statistics are really helpful to the impact of the article. But the fact that you have so many statistics and no citations seems off to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elee3 (talkcontribs) 11:59, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I like your section a lot, I think it is an accurate and succinct first section. One suggestion I have is that you give some estimate of how many illegal abortions occur there. Even if it is an estimate, you could cite that. Please provide in text citations. Otherwise it is perfect. Tdixon13 (talk) 18:39, 20 April 2017 (UTC)tdixon13[reply]

I think this is a well written section, with all the necessary links and citations. I think the mention of abortion being a gendered crime is very interesting and relevant. In hindsight, I think it could have been another subsection. (Note: I deleted the "copied from abortion in guatemala" and "end of copied source" because it showed in the official page of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elee3 (talkcontribs) 11:57, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I like your section a lot! It provides relevant statistics and adds to the article. I would recommend that you change your wording in the sentence "This could possibly be the fault of religion," maybe change it to "This could possibly be due to the influence of religion." I think it would be less biased that way. Also, don't forget to provide in text citations, especially when you say that Mayans are "traditionally opposed to contraception." I think your section looks good! My only suggestion is to add links to other Wikipedia pages for topics that people may not know much about. Also, the statistic about how many people identify with the Catholic religion is great because it gives a lot of insight on the actual impact religion has on abortion. I think everything looks pretty good! Your sources appear to be cited correctly, and you've linked Women on Waves, which is important. Lrobin42 (talk) 13:25, 20 April 2017 (UTC)Lakin[reply]

I really like your section. It was really interesting that they attempted this even though the Dutch organization knew the Guatemalan women were not supposed to board the boat. (Diuspa (talk) 20:16, 20 April 2017 (UTC))[reply]

this was a good read. great use of inofrmation and facts. good use of looking at the subject from different points of view. overall great section so far. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adriannesavage63 (talkcontribs) 23:26, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
