This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/Chapman_University/Disability_in_American_Life_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |

Sourcing
[edit]Hi Taylo184! I know that the Wikipedia portion of the class will be over tomorrow, but I wanted to drop a quick note about sourcing. When possible, try to avoid linking to sourcing on your school's Blackboard site, as that can only be viewed by students in your particular course. I've replaced the Blackboard link on the Shtiebel article with one to the Springer site so no worries, I just wanted to let you know about this. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 04:26, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello Shalor! Thank you very much, I didn't realize the link wouldn't be accessible by all but thanks for catching that! It's nice to know there's someone out there assisting and regulating edits, it gives me more trust in the information that myself and others add. Taylo184 (talk) 15:16, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- You're welcome! :) BTW, I also wanted to let you know that you had two training modules left to complete, Evaluating Articles and Sources and Sandboxes and Mainspace. I'm not sure if your teacher requires for you to have these finished or not, but they're both pretty good to have training in with Wikipedia. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:30, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
