Violet Hill
Hello. You have made a redirect from Violet Hill to Wilson Trail. Could you help me find the discussion which has led to this move? Thank you. olivier (talk) 10:59, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- This decision was made to merge the two pages back in 2 April 2006, you can find the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Violet Hill. Tavatar (talk) 15:53, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- In fact at this time it was a very short article. It was merged and turned into a redirect on April 2, 2006. Then on April 17, 2006, someone restarted the article and added content. A lot of material was added after this date, and then you re-merged without discussion. So if I understand properly, your merger was based on a decision made more than 3 years ago and based on a stub. The decision had been de facto reverted. I suggest that we de-merge and recreate the article until a new consensus is found. The material now sits very uncomfortably in the Wilson Trail article. olivier (talk) 17:21, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have a problem de-merging the article if you feel that they belong in different articles. I started merging the pages because I feel that there weren't enough information on neither of the articles. If you take a look at the links to the stages in Wilson Trail, they are mostly non-existing or stub class articles. Perhaps merging all some of the stages into the Wilson Trail page would provide a better direction for this trail's page? My intention was to combine minor informations into a more centralized location that could use more information. I personally would like to see 1 good article rather than multiple stubs with single paragraphs in each of them. Tavatar (talk) 18:20, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Hong Kong article
There is a discussion here about whether the words “highly autonomous” should be removed from the opening sentence of the article.
The current opening sentence reads:
“ | Hong Kong, officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, is a highly autonomous territory of the People's Republic of China, facing Guangdong to the north and the South China Sea to the east, west and south. Hong Kong is a global metropolitan and international financial centre, and has a highly developed capitalist economy. | ” |
Feel free to expression you opinion in the above talk page. Da Vynci (talk) 07:23, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Pedder Building
Out of curiosity, why did you grade the article of 'high importance'? Ohconfucius ¡digame! 01:21, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, that was a mistake, I thought it's a Grade I historic building, but after check it again, it's actually listed as Grade II building, so I reassessed it back to Mid Importance. Tavatar (talk) 15:27, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
