/* Help me to improve the Module:Infobox_gene :) . */ new section

[edit]

Please help me with the following request: I represent the https://www.bgee.org, a gene expression database, and I would like to improve the Module:Infobox_gene, I have recently done a request at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Module_talk:Infobox_gene#Template-protected_edit_request_on_13_October_2021 including tests with the sandbox. This request solely adds new information into the Module:Infobox_gene, we do not remove any existing information, therefore there is no conflict in terms of information. Please may someone help me to push this request, or to indicate with whom I should talk? Thank you very much for your precious help! BgeeDB (talk) 09:27, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Filing the {{TPER}} is the correct way to request this change. Please be patient as it's a rather complex request and there are not a huge number of template editors who can evaluate such a request. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 10:22, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. Seddon talk 10:37, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have renamed your account and will remove the block. 331dot (talk) 06:38, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want the word "new" in your username? I assume you just overwrote the word "username" and not "new username". 331dot (talk) 15:37, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, exactly just tarsmf, thank you for your help! BgeeDB (talk) 01:54, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
