A tag has been placed on TAP press release., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place for press releases. Please read FAQ/Organizations. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:00, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Because Wikipedia does not allow any form of spam or other promotion of people, products, companies or other groups (even non-commercial or charitable ones). Wikipedia's use for such purposes will result in the blocking of the account involved. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for our rules about this.

In addition, user accounts are for individuals only, not for companies or groups or other collective editing. Your username should reflect this. Usernames that appear to be promotional (such as those that make reference to a company or product) violate our username policy and are grounds for blocking.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than yourself, your group, company or product, you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message box.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Tell us what new username you want to use. Please make sure that your new username does not violate our username policy and check that it has not already been taken here.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If instead you believe that you have been blocked by mistake (i.e., you have not in fact been using Wikipedia for promotional purposes), please write {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message box and replace the text "Your reason here" with the reason why. See also Wikipedia:Appealing a block for more information. Cirt (talk) 16:14, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

  • I'd like to use a new user name: Carlaclara. :*I understand the reason why my account was blocked - user name associated with the article I was editing, linking to press releases and suspected Conflict of Interest. As I am just a beginner in Wikipedia editing, I didn't yet fully understand all the rules and limitations, but I will make sure to carefully consider them in the future. :*I intend to provide objectve and verifiable contributions on energy, gas, pipeline related matters in a variety of articles, also in articles related to Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia and Switzerland.

Decline reason:

No response on the issues below, please raise another unblock request should you wish to discuss things further. Stephen 02:02, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I will contact the blocking admin so that s/he may review your request. TNXMan 16:14, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am not certain this is not a WP:Role account dedicated to promoting its own interests on behalf of an organization with a singular purpose. Cirt (talk) 17:12, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Tapipline, if you were unblocked and allowed to choose a new username, which articles would you edit? What sort of contributions would you be interested in making? TNXMan 19:05, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Additional question; would you be prepared to agree specifically not to edit Trans Adriatic Pipeline? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 14:15, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I will contribute to various energy, gas supply, EU energy policy, pipeline articles, excluding the Trans Adriatic Pipeline article. I did not have an intention to promote this project specifically, I just happened to start with that one without really understanding all the rules, which was my mistake, I admit. I would also like to edit articles on Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia and Switzerland (politics, geography, history, culture, travel). I can also contribute on the same topics in the Russian section of Wikipedia. --Tapipline (talk) 12:14, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
