Regarding your additions to Tap dance

[edit]

In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article to establish notability. If you wish to create such an article, please confirm that your subject is notable according to Wikipedia's notability policy. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:35, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: A person is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia if they meet the notability guidelines (or more specifically for creative professionals). For example, they must have been the subject of multiple published secondary sources which are reliable and independent of the subject. For the people and dance companies that you added to the Tap dance article, you should first create an article for them should they meet the notability guidelines and then add them to the Tap dance article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:24, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
