Hello, I'm Oshwah. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Hypnotherapy because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:03, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Oshwah,
Thank you for reaching out and for the explanation regarding the removal of the external links I added to the Hypnotherapy page. I understand that Wikipedia has strict guidelines about external links, and I appreciate you pointing this out.
I believe the link I added provided valuable information about Hypnotherapy, but I completely understand if it did not meet Wikipedia's standards. Could you provide some guidance on how to ensure that future contributions align with Wikipedia’s guidelines?
Thank you for your time and for helping to improve Wikipedia!

RE: Feedback on Citation for Horoscope Article

[edit]

The blog you referenced does not cite any specific texts. There are no links in the text other than the "Astrology Readings Online" link, which clearly displays the same name as your Wikipedia user account uses on the top, leading me to believe that it's your own blog post.

Self-published sources are not appropriate for Wikipedia. If the sources you used to write your blog post are considered reliable by Wikipedia (for example, academic papers published in well-known journals), it'd be best if you cite these sources instead. Hi KockaAdmiralac,
Thank you for your feedback and for reviewing my edit. I understand your concerns regarding the reliability of the blog I referenced and the potential conflict of interest. You’re absolutely right that self-published sources are not appropriate for Wikipedia.
I’d like to share that I’ve been an astrologer and have studied astrology for more than 20 years. My intention in contributing to Wikipedia is to share knowledge and improve the quality of articles on this subject. I’ll ensure that my future edits cite only reliable, third-party sources and adhere to Wikipedia’s guidelines on neutrality and credibility.
I appreciate your input. Thank you again for your time and guidance!
Best regards,
