I apologize if I broke format with my edit. Most of the guide lines look like Greek to me. Unfortunely I don't have time to learn Greek right now so in the future I'll simply refrain. But, on the current deed, My son needed a reference that showed the specific gravity(SG) of StyrofoamTM, an unspecified wood(I decided on something we could buy at a local lumber yard), and an unspecified bark(again, something local) for a 7th grade science project. NaturallyI sent him to Wikipedia. He brought to my attention that on a previous page it was stated that anything with a SG greater than 1.0 would sink in water. Yet on the same page it stated that Poystyrene(StyrofoamTM) had an SG of 1.5. He's too smart for me most of the time. The problem that I have is he needs a reference and now there isn't one. Also if you could suggest a reference for Pine Wood and Pine Bark I would be immensely grateful.

I'd suggest asking your question on the science reference desk.--v/r - TP 17:39, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
