Please be aware that as it stands at the moment your User:Tabajek/Day Pitney page is highly promotional, I know it is still a work in progress so I won't make any changes at this time, however please make sure that you post on my talk page when you think it is at a point when it may be copied over to main space so I can advise what procedure you need to follow to have it moved. Non-free rationale for File:Day-pitney-llp.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Day-pitney-llp.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mtking (edits) 21:46, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tabajek. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article User:Tabajek/Day Pitney, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to you, your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Mtking (edits) 21:48, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed some of the promotional content from the page and highlighted one claim you need to find a source for.

Since the page was deleted as a result of a community discussion (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Day Pitney) and the deleting admin is no longer an admin you will need to make a formal request for it to be moved at WP:DRV (see note below). However as it stands at the moment, i do not feel that the issue of notability has been addressed, there does not appear significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject which is the standard by which articles are judged. Note on WP:DRV

[edit]

Making a request at WP:DRV can be a bit complicated, so, even though I don't think the article is right for the encyclopaedia, I would be willing to post the request on your behalf, but you should be aware that as it stands I would also make it clear that I do not support it's return.Mtking (edits) 21:45, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Day-pitney-llp.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Day-pitney-llp.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions. If you have a question, place a {{helpme}} template, along with your question, beneath this message.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.
