I think you did a great job explaining the background of a telomere, and why they are important. This will be useful to readers who aren't as well-versed in biology and genetics (like me!) I did notice that you cited the last opening and informative statement, where it seems like you are providing more of an educational background. If you cite that one sentence, I almost wonder if you should cite the others? It seems like you are providing more technical knowledge, but where are you pulling it from? Additionally, where you say shortened telomere's could lead to diseases, I would have like an e.g., in the cite to provide some examples of diseases. That would be interesting as a reader. Then, I imagine you may add a little more in that second section you have the one sentence for. I definitely think you should, as that is an interesting topic and I would want to know more about it as a reader! I like how you provided ample background information, and this is something I feel like I could apply to future edits to my own article! Check back on those to see if you need to provide some more information there. Also I noticed the source you likely used for the background info on the telomere-so I would just say maybe consider citing some of those first sentences, since you may be pulling some info there from that source! I'm glad you found my writing about telomeres interesting! As I was researching my topic I ran across that and fell into a rabbit hole because it was so interesting. I also agree that I need to add more to the other area that I worked on, while I did essentially add I feel like it needs more substance to be good quality. Hi Tabitha! What an interesting topic! I think you did a good job at explaining the neuroscience behind telomeres and what that process actually looks like. I thought it was very easy to understand and gave a good overview for someone interested in your topic. I agree with Hannah in her statement about the shortened telomeres could lead to diseases. I think it would be interesting to give more insight into what these diseases are and if they are related to your topic in any way. I really thought your larger paragraph under the pathway section was wrapped-up nicely and related to your topic well. I did also see (what Hannah mentioned above) about the "check date" and the "cite journal" so just be sure to double check that.
