License tagging for Image:Photome022006.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Photome022006.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Little context in Georges Poulet (colonial governor)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Georges Poulet (colonial governor), by UnitedStatesian, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Georges Poulet (colonial governor) is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Georges Poulet (colonial governor), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Georges Poulet (colonial governor) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:31, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Non-free use disputed for Image:Omonia.gif
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Omonia.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:47, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't know mate I really thoughtthe columns and the map made it more understandable. Perhaps if the map was lowered to 200px it wouldn't overlap. I strongly want to keep the two columns as I'm sure you'll agree. I eventually aim to start all the communes!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 15:49, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm taking a few days off, but when I do, I just got JSTOR access. If you don't, and come across anything you need a pdf of, lemme know.

Usman dan Fodio
Hi. Thanks for the work you've been doing on Usman dan Fodio. I see you added a stub tag, but the article doesn't seem to be a stub in my opinion; stubs are short articles in need of expansion, rarely over 250 words. Picaroon (t) 23:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Cheikh Anta Diop University
Thanks for removing the tags on Cheikh Anta Diop University. I edited this recently but without the benefit of much reference, as I don't speak French. If you have the time, it could use a look from someone who does. I've made more notes on it under Talk. --71.146.89.17 (talk) 07:30, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Raziq Faani
I am seriously considering removing the word "Tajik" in the first sentence of the Raziq Faani artilce. Generally ethnicity is not placed in the lead Manual of Style. The ethnicity is unsourced. The sentence already says that he wrote in Persian, which in Kabul is possible for any ethnicity, and writing in Persian is what is important for his notability. --Bejnar (talk) 16:51, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- According to "Afghan Poet Raziq Faani’s Life and Works Celebrated" 2006, he wrote in the variety of Persian known as Dari. It talks about "the poet’s great literary achievements and contributions to the Dari language and literature." --Bejnar (talk) 16:58, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree that Afghan is the English demonyn for person from Afghanistan. I will remove Tajik in accordance with Wikipedia policy. If it is important it can be placed in the "Career and family" section with appropriate sourcing. --Bejnar (talk) 17:06, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

user: Bejnar (who seems to be an Afghan nationalist after looking at his contribs) claims that Afghan is the only denonym, but after looking at these sources clearly he has lied and tried to push his POVs. HouChangMao (talk) 21:29, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Infobox
Please note. The infobox is not a "Spiritualism" relating to Modern Spiritualism. I think if you follow the academic references given you will see those that relate the spiritualistic activities of marabou to other spiritualistic traditions.
It appears to be a common difficulty for American editors but academics use the term far more widely. --Lucyintheskywithdada (talk) 15:56, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
