Unblock request
[edit]TTP1233/Archives/2022 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I NS Dibyojyoti (talk · contribs), self-declared that whatever evidence presented over that sock is correct. A year ago I opened an account named TTP1233 in simple.m.wikipedia.org but I never edited in risk until I confirm that admin Ninjarobotpirate blocked that as well. But after some months past, I started editing Wikipedia and after months I got encouraged to edit here. Moreover no one suspected me. But creating Sujit Bose (politician) and Indranil Sen was the biggest blunder I made. Though they are notable but since I made it, I feared if anyone knows. Second thing I made identified is shortening my original name, Dibyojyoti Roy Chowdhury to Jyoti Roy. And I live in same place (As mentioned in my bio in both the accounts). This is the truth I can say. And sincerely saying, I'm not willing to create anymore account as making that might be time consuming. So I had decided that until any instructions come from any admin. I refrain from editing Wikipedia. I may not know how much long. I know my request will be declined and this is too lengthy. But I think I deserved to edit here since in this account I didn't make any wrong works. Please check if anything can be done so far. But please don't abandon me like this forever.Jyoti Roy (talk) 05:11, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
As per below. Yamla (talk) 10:55, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- In response to the email you sent me: first of all, you must appeal from your original account; I'm certain that this account will not be unblocked. Second, you've been consistently engaged in sockpuppetry for over a year, so you shouldn't expect people to trust you anytime soon. If you're willing to wait six months (or more) and take the standard offer, you might get another chance. But sockpuppetry/block evasion are things that the community takes very seriously, and no amount of good editing is going to overcome that. So, to answer your question, evading a CU block is an attempt at deception, and we don't need any other reasons to block you. (There were serious concerns about your editing as well, but that's beside the point.) Just take a break: the world is a wonderful place, and surely you can find something other than Wikipedia that brings you joy and fulfillment. Trying to circumvent your block simply doesn't work, as this sorry incident shows. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 06:42, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
@Extraordinary Writ:, you are correct but the problem is.... I mostly forgot the password of my original username. Even if I try to re-change it, I can not. I was unable to access the re-set mode due to block mode. So I have to write here as this is only way I can access and request here. Jyoti Roy (talk) 09:54, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
Also if be un-blocked, maybe after 6 months of taking standard offer, or even later, may be I should be abstain from Wikipedia for months. When I will come back to business, then I will do small edits like fixing bugs and reverting vandal edits. This big level is not for me right now. I now understand that basic things must be known to me. This would take a long time to become in a good position but I will manage to do so. Also in AFC case, I must be looking for articles based on my own origins,(in India). Because these allegation are not tolerated. Thank you for the advice you gave. I was over-excited in having Wikipedia. And you said that world is a good place. Maybe I should be engaged some other things instead of creating sock accounts. That's make me disgusting now. So waiting for 6 months won't matter for much I see. This makes me too talkative here now. Once more thank you. Jyoti Roy (talk) 10:09, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
Hey @Yamla:, after so many days I met you, this would be my last edit but if I ask a doubt on any matters through e-mail wouldn't be any problem. Jyoti Roy (talk) 11:01, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
Make your unblock request here. I will not consider unblock requests made via email. --Yamla (talk) 11:06, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
