Hello, TSR2, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions; I hope you like it here and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

Subpages

[edit]

I just noticed your question and self-answer on the Wikipedia:Help desk and it made my day. A few days ago, someone else had asked about doing this, and, since I knew the Wikipedia:Subpages page had information, I went to check it - it did say how to make a subpage, but in a very confusing way. I reorganized it to highlight how to make a user subpage, and, lo and behold, someone comes along and uses it. Wheee! So, just a note of thanks, and good luck with your history work on Wikipedia. History does provoke plenty of Wikipedia:Edit wars, which can be pretty upseting, but, on the other hand, there are hundreds of topics we don't have an article on yet, so you can be happily involved in writing those and never pay attention to the controversy, if you wish. Keep on editing! JesseW 07:42, 30 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
