Your choice of new username would be acceptable. However, your text was indeed promotional as it just merely told about your company- the definition of promotion. Wikipedia articles must do more, they must only summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say about your company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company wants to say about itself. If editing about your company is your only goal here, you will not be unblocked, and should consider alternative forums where that is permitted.
