A tag has been placed on Atrixo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not repost it. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 09:26, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

ATRIXO
[edit]You have been warned about making disruptive edits to articles. Removing SD tags is considered a disruptive edit. Please cease or you will again be barred from editing Wikipedia. ttonyb1 (talk) 06:17, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ttonyb1 (talk) 06:50, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
- Please read WP:Criteria for Speedy Deletion. The issue stems from the lack of Notability of the band. Just because something is real does not mean it is notable. Until notability is established the article will probably not survive. Unfortunately, a local band with very limited airplay is not considered to be notable. ttonyb1 (talk) 06:56, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
- Given the warnings and notes above, and the fact that the Atrixo article was recreated five times in one day despite those warnings and references to Wikipedia policy, including your having received a temporary block for those recreations, AND the fact that I've examined the deleted article and can't find any evidence that it's going to meet the requirements of WP:MUSIC, I'm going to decline to unprotect the article at this point in time. However, I have recreated the deleted material for you in what we call a "sandbox" page at User:Szymon81/Sandbox. Apparently I'm optimistic that, despite all the evidence to the contrary, you've decided to work within Wikipedia's boundaries for appropriate content. If you can add the material that you claim is possible so that the article meets the requirements of WP:MUSIC -- and I cannot urge you strongly enough to read and be familiar with the requirements there -- I will unprotect the page, remount it, and help you take it through the process of WP:Deletion review. (You are also free to go through deletion review on your own, of course, and you may wish to do so, given that my participation on Wikipedia currently has time limitations.) You've asked for pointers on how to improve the article; if you're not being disingenuous, then making sure that the material in the article demonstrates that it meets the requirements of WP:MUSIC is the best -- in fact, the only -- way to have this article recreated. However, I urge you to consider carefully whether this is worth the effort. I don't want to be responsible for raising false hope and encouraging you to go through a lot of work only to find out at the end that the result is going to be the same, and I really think that's what's going to happen. As the editor immediately above remarked, "a local band with very limited airplay is not considered to be notable", and you may have to accept that information about this band will have to be found at some location other than Wikipedia. Your call. Accounting4Taste:talk 15:16, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
The article Amy Ferguson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SummerPhD (talk) 02:13, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
