Welcome to Wikipedia, Szczecinolog! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Copy-paste moves

[edit]

Hi,

I see you moved a number of tram system articles to titles such as "Trams in X". I have had to revert these moves because articles should not be moved by this method. The correct procedure is to use the "move" tab at the top of the article. Copy-paste moves break the article history. This history is needed for attribution, as it is part of the CC license used on Wikipedia. See Help:Moving a page for further information.

In this case, I am not sure if there exists a consensus for the moves, because some of the articles discuss a specific system, not just "Trams in a city". You may want to submit the request to requested moves before trying to move them again.

Best wishes, Sjakkalle (Check!) 10:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop attempting to move article names around (by cut-and-paste or any other means). Most of these articles have their name based on a sane research. In the case of Berlin tram, please read Talk:Berlin tram#How Anglicised should the name be? which discovered "Berlin tram" was by far the most Google-able term and allows easy linking as: a Berlin tram, the Berlin tramways, Berlin tram system, ... —Sladen (talk) 12:04, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed pagemoves

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.Eisfbnore (talk) 08:24, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I saw that your attempt to update the image in Zhe with breve failed. This was because I had inserted the width parameter in the wrong place in an earlier edit – sorry. I have corrected my mistake and redone your edit. —Coroboy (talk) 07:07, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ShareMap mapping

[edit]

Hi Szczecinolog, I saw that you use ShareMap maps in several articles. If you need any assistance with ShareMap please let me know.

Meanwhile if you can I will be very happy if you can add your support in this discussion: meta:Talk:Interwiki_map#ShareMap

We opened request of adding ShareMap to list of sites that are available using Interwiki links, and any support voice is warmly welcome (you can add your comment or just I support or +1). We believe that adding ShareMap to interwiki will make linking easier.

I will be also very happy if you can add yourself to the list of ShareMap users here : commons:User_talk:ShareMap/ShareMap_users

We are applying for Wikimedia Foundation grant and we need to prove that people are really using ShareMap to enrich their articles.

Thanks

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Nice work, though should the article be moved to "Szczecińskie Przedsiębiorstwo Autobusowe Dąbie" ?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Winner 42 Talk to me! 16:10, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
